Not even close to worth the $90 greens fees. The greens are excellent but everything else including fairways tee boxes and rough is going to seed (or clover more specifically). See picture of a typical fairway. Deep clover patches everywhere. Tee boxes the length of rough. No water in any of the coolers or beverage cart despite being a beautiful Saturday end of May with plenty of people on the course. It’s a shame because course layout and views are excellent - the course just needs someone to take care of it.

Disappointing experience at this golf course. We asked to play 9 holes, but three of us were charged for 18 instead. The staff was also unnecessarily rude from the start. They insisted that our group split up and spoke to us in a very disrespectful manner. Later, they came out again to tell us we needed to speed up and repeat that we had to split up… even though we had already done so. There wasn’t even a group behind us waiting, and our original group had already caught back up to us. Most of them quit golfing due to it, and basically just rode in the golf cart. Overall, the customer service was terrible. Mistakes happen, but the way we were treated was unprofessional and left us with no desire to come back.

A couple Members from Stixx Golf Co visited this course today. They had great things to say about the course. The only feedback they shared was for the middle-aged gentleman that worked at the front desk. It sounds like it would be best if he would lay off the haterade. But they loved the back 9 of the course!

This two star review is based on the factors of current conditions and price. I have played & enjoyed Stonebridge for many years and have seen it in much better condition, also at a much better price. The amount of weeds on this course (primarily clover, which is most frustrating for finding golf balls) is inexcusable and a reflection of poor turf management. The Bermuda has not greened up compared to surrounding courses pointing to other turf management issues.While Stonebridge has one of the best public course layouts in NWA, their current course conditions and their high pricing show they are more concerned with capitalizing on the NWA public golf monopoly rather than providing a great experience. For $83 for an afternoon tee time, one would expect the water coolers on the course to be filled, which were not. I have also watched a new course restroom project on the back 9 drag out for at least 5-8 years now. Do better Stonebridge, you were once a course I loved!

The “dynamic green fees” feels like a total scam. It’s hard to justify rates approaching $90, $72 in the winter, for the current course conditions. As a private club member, these prices are comparable to guest fees at my club, which makes the value difficult to understand. It would be one thing if the course conditions matched the pricing, but unfortunately they do not. There are areas of the course that need significant attention, and overall maintenance does not reflect premium-level greens fees. Additionally, the unfinished bathroom project near Hole 15 is difficult to overlook. Management previously cited increased pricing as a way to improve amenities, yet more than four years later, that project still has not been completed. It’s hard to reconcile higher fees with promises of improvements that remain unfinished. To be clear, the staff has always been great — Matt in particular does an excellent job and is always professional and welcoming. However, strong customer service can’t offset pricing that feels disconnected from course conditions. This used to be the go-to public course in Northwest Arkansas. Now, it’s difficult to consider it among the top options in the area. I hope to see improvements because this course has a lot of potential. Do better Stoney.
