We love the new Trackman driving range! The new range is state-of-the-art and has tons of fun features. The snack shack attached has a great variety of food and drink, making it a fun place even for non-golfers. Troy is super helpful and friendly and makes sure everyone is having a great time. My new favorite spot!

The best course in Yuma. We all know the difficulty in maintaining a course in the desert southwest. Las Barrancas has done the best job of all the courses in the area of mastering this difficulty. Hats off to their grounds crew for providing a beautiful and well-maintained course. Update March 2024: The course looks better than big things are on the way. A new and modern driving range is on track to be opened in October and the new clubhouse, pro shop and restaurant should be done next year. Without any doubt Las Barrancas is the best place in SW Arizona to golf

Was out in the area on business and decided to stop by Las Barrancas Golf Course and check it out. The current proshop is in a double-wide trailer due to the fact that they are in the process of constructing a brand new proshop. Restaurant and event hall. They have implemented a trackman range and now resides where the original 10th tee was. The overall best part of this course was the staff, all super friendly and knowledgeable about there course. They even mentioned about on on course incident with bees on hole 13 to avoid. Everyone seemed very excited and proud of the future of their course and the new facilities coming soon! They stated the were under new ownership which understood the desire to make a community location and destination golf stop in that area. Practice facilities including trackman bays for range session, full large putting green, and chipping greens with bunkers. This is where I got an understanding of greens speeds out on course. As for the course. Well, to be honest the track was a fun and somewhat demanding layout with elevation changes, water features, blind tee shots and all in all very good course. It looked as if many bunkers where removed and turned into grass, possible due to wind blowing sand away from bunkers in that area due to it always being a windy area. Sand in bunkers alone is a very costly thing to keep up, so understood. The biggest complaint of the course was tee box grass lengths, very over grown and long, had to switch tee lengths just to get above grass blades for par 4's and 5's. As for the par 3's it made it very difficult to get proper action off the tee, it was either tee it high take one more club or clean pick it way above ground level. As for fairways, not to bad, some areas with fallout, due to temps or disease, but no to bad. As for the greens, probably the hardest part of the game there. I have never had to press a putt so hard in my career. They were so long, green across the board and healthy, but super duper long. It took several holes to figure out how to format the course knowing that, I ended up formatting coming up short and chipping close to avoid putting long putts altogether. 18th green I stuck it within 2 feet and missed a birdie chance, proceed to try in three more time and it rolled and broke differently each time due to the length of the grass. All in all I would definitely venture back next year to see how things progress there. The team at Las Barrancas G.C. was on point and truly believe that is what made the experience there memorable, excited for them and the future of their renovations!!!
