El Rio Golf Course is a great place to play a round with friends or family. The course is well taken care of and the greens are in good shape. It’s not too hard but still fun and challenging enough. I played here with my uncle and we both had a great time. The staff at the clubhouse was friendly and got us checked in quickly. They also have a driving range where I practiced before we started. The views of the mountains are awesome, especially in the afternoon. Prices are good too, especially for how nice the course is. I’ll definitely come back again. It’s one of the best golf spots in Tucson.

Had an awesome time at the El Rio golf course with the Tucson High Badger Foundation nonprofit fundraiser. The event was incredibly well put together—great energy, smooth organization, and a really strong sense of community throughout the day. There were tons of fun surprises along the way that made it more than just a round of golf—it felt like a full experience. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Really appreciate the effort that went into making this event happen. Looking forward to the next one!

El Rio is an awesome course and fun to play with my friends. We play often and really enjoy the services Robert and Tom provide as starters outside. The course has been in great shape Tee to Greens. Our last round the temperature reached triple digits. Though we carry enough water, I don't understand why there isn't drinking water out on the course. When I paid for my round I asked the young man if he was handing bottle water out to start. Ryley said no... but there was water on the course. Having played several times I know the fountains are inoperable but there was only one that did work this past Monday. Secondly, after our round our friends stopped in to cool off and purchased two pitchers of beer. We asked the young lady if there were chilled glasses available to which she replied she did not have enough glasses. The beer was also not very cold. Service inside is almost always excellent, but not this time. Recently received an email regarding the 2$ increase in July so I'm somewhat confused why the service was going in the wrong direction.

A fun course and very forgiving for those of us that don't have our PGA Tour Card. Just 18 holes and located on Westside of Tucson near Silverbell and Speedway. City Public Course and played 18 holes with a cart for $23 (not bad for summer rates ). Being that we are in midsummer the course was a little dry, but the tee boxes and greens were nice. El Rio Golf Course is the place for a summer golf deal and good time! Recommend :)

While some would disagree, I really like El Rio. It's a nice , simple muni course conveniently located to everything. It's fairly easy to get on and get around. The bunkers are challenging on some holes, and there are some long par 3s, but it's a nice experience over all. I play all the time after work and really enjoy it. Definitely worth checking out the next time you have an after-work round, or want to golf on short notice.
