Fun golf course to play.. Back 9 is going through irrigation update, minimal disruption only if you miss the wide fairways. Pro Shop Staff & Starter were extremely professional & informative ( Ken & Slack ). Beverage Cart run by ( Lexi ) was well stock with very reasonable pricing. she provided excellent customer service, Despite the renovation going on back 9 course conditions were very playable all things considered. Highly recommend playing Ken McDonald anytime your in the area!

Little more expensive than other public ones around. But great golf none the less. They have kids clinics and some fast greens. What else do ya need?

Nice course with fantastic folks who always treat me as if I were the only customer they had. Well maintained course, nice facilities, and interesting layout. I play here regularly and enjoy my time every time!

First, as of Jan2026, the course is in good shape. The fairways were green and the tee boxes were solid. The greens were smooth. There was a big storm in Oct2025 that caused the course to be closed because there was some damage and about 160+ trees were uprooted. There's no visible damage on the course, but many of the cut down trees are still in the rough areas. However, this is not a challenging course compared with those built in the last 30 years. Many of the fairways were flat, straight and had little to no hazards. There's a little water on the course that comes into play for about 6-7 holes, but it is easily avoided. Only 4-5 holes have dog leg turns. Otherwise, I think it's a good course to practice consistency if not for challenging shots. It's still worth a play.

$80 for punched greens and many many hard dirt lies in the middle of the “fairways”. What a dump. To top it off my friend left his yeti in the cart, realized it in the parking lot and walked back to the cart return. Maybe 5 minutes and it is nowhere to be seen. Gone in 5 minutes. What a goat ranch. Wouldn’t recommend this dirt lot to my worst enemy. It got one star only because it couldn’t get 0 stars. Guys in the pro shop were great. Shout out. City of Tempe do better.
