If you get a chance go play the Boulders, the North is mostly reserved for Members only, with the South being for resort guests The Boulders North Course offers a premier desert golf experience that balances tactical challenge with stunning scenery. For the Pros: This layout rewards precise shot-making and long-iron play, especially from the back tees. The Bentgrass greens provide a true, consistent roll that is rare for the Arizona desert. For the Joes: The course is visually spectacular with massive rock formations and saguaros. While the desert carries can be intimidating, multiple tee boxes and generous fairways keep it playable and highly enjoyable for all skill levels.

Unbelievable golf courses. Quite possibly the best in the Valley. I came here for years on vacation and now I live here and can play it whenever I want. It's a beautiful and pristine now as it was 30 years ago. The staff is amazing, the food at Bogeys is great and the views on the courses are so striking it's hard to concentrate on your game! Be sure to check out Promise Rock behind the Lodge. A beautiful spot for an intimate wedding.

Absolutely magical greens are in perfect condition as where the fairways service was top-notch highly recommend. We played both south course which is open to the public and then played with some members and we’re allowed to play the north course as well. Truly amazing.

Difficult but really fun course! Great design weaving through the boulders. Very picturesque. My negatives were that the greens weren't smooth, the driving range wasn't long enough to hit driver, and the service at the restaurant was subpar.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — South Course at Boulders Golf Club Really enjoyed my round on the South Course. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived, which set the tone for a great day. The layout itself is fun and scenic, and as a 9‑handicap playing from the white tees, the course felt like the perfect balance — challenging without being punishing, especially for someone who isn’t a long hitter. Course conditions were mostly strong. Tees and fairways were in excellent shape, and the routing kept things interesting throughout. The greens were the one disappointment: a bit bumpy and not rolling very true. A few bunkers could also use more sand — I even caught some exposed landscape fabric in one of them. The wildlife and photo ops are a big highlight here. The first hole is probably the best of the “signature” holes, and I kept waiting for another one later in the round to match it, but nothing quite did. Still, it was a solid overall experience and good value for the money. Wrapped up with lunch at the grill, and Vanessa was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and a great way to end the day.
