Description

Peaks is the more traditional of Tonto Verde's two layouts, with a classic desert-links look and expansive mountain backdrops. David Graham and Gary Panks used subtle elevation changes and angled greens to reward proper positioning off the tee. The par 3s vary meaningfully in length, so the bag gets fully tested. Recent renovations refreshed bunkers and playability without losing its strategic character. It's a favorite of residents for daily play and member events.

Wonderful community, so close to the free-flowing Verde River. Wildlife still up and down the Verde River and on the golf course as well as the backyard.

Scenic round on an impeccable golf course. Two very different courses highlighted by stunning, breathtaking desert and mountain views. Nibbled at the Snack Shack on “house smoked” brisket sandwiches. What a luxury treat. Simply the very best of times.

An amazing place to call home! Beautiful homes, friendly community and all nature can offer. Wildlife, vistas and true desert beauty abound in the adjacent Tonto National Forest and McDowell Regional Park.

I had never had a desire to spend time in Arizona or the desert until I started coming to visit here with my wife. This place is truly special, and the views and the grounds are breathtaking.
