Papago is a Phoenix municipal gem originally designed by William Bell in 1963. It reopened in 2008 after a major renovation, restoring its classic parkland desert blend. At 7,333 yards, par 72, it has hosted NCAA championships and top amateur events. Wide corridors and elevated greens framed by Papago Buttes make it scenic yet challenging. The practice facilities include a top tier range and short game area.
