Course was in good shape and it was affordable but play was SLOW and the starter was super rude.

This Westgate property is a nice place to stay, but is somewhat dated already. I believe it started as a timeshare vacation resort, but we stayed a week here booked through our airline, and are not part of the timeshare, nor were we pressured to buy into it. We were assigned the smallest studio room, as did our travel companions, who had noise issues with two different neighbors in their adjoining room. I would stay here again, but they said they would not. Parking in the evenings can be a challenge, so expect to walk a ways (safely) to your room if you go out for dinner or shopping. The amenities were nice, especially if you bring children, which we did not. We enjoyed the heated pool and both sets of jacuzzis on the property. There is also a jacuzzi tub in the rooms which my wife used daily. The base of the tubs in both rooms we saw were dark colored, from lack of proper and regular scrubbing, which was the only visible lack of cleanliness. The beds were excellent, and we slept well. Plenty of phone charger plugs were available in the room, plus a fridge and microwave in the tiny kitchenette. Most rooms have outside seating available, which we also used. There is close access here to AZ-202 freeway, and lots of shopping and restaurants.

Great location for what we were looking for. The rooms are very simple but nice. We ended up staying in the golf course side next to the restaurant which was very nice. Our only complaint would be that we had a room that had an adjoining room and we could hear their conversations. That was really annoying especially in the morning when our son was trying to sleep.

I get the updates on daily deals all the time just never played the course until today. Well great condition. Greens were in stellar shape and honestly couldn't find anything to complain about. All the staff was great, enjoyed joking around with the guy at the bag drop before the round. Pro shop was great as well. Pace of play was a little slow but I'm out to have fun and relax. 18 holes in under 4 hours is still average. Everyone I met on the course was great and was having a good time. Was challenging and fun, I had an absolute blast. The ranger Pete was also great to chat with during the round. Bravo gents already booked my next tee time. Play on average 72 holes or more a week and this will be a new favorite course for sure!

Wonderful, friendly staff. Clean grounds. WONDERFUL, helpful grounds people! Perfect size for families and couples with lots of activities: play area, pickleball court, picnic areas, shuffleboard, ping pong, huge connect four, pond with fountain, close to grocery stores, churches, and Costco. GREAT pool close to all buildings. Nice grills available. Pet friendly. Fun golf course. Restaurant on site.
