The Gallery's North Course runs along the foothills northwest of Tucson, mixing broad landing areas with exacting green sites. John Fought and Tom Lehman blended classic hole templates with desert-era strategy, leaving room for both aerial and ground games. The layout hosted elite amateur and professional events and served as a prelude to the club's later Match Play fame. Wind can be a quiet factor on the exposed plateaus, especially on long par fours. A complete practice range sits near the clubhouse for pre-round dialing.

Other than not having electronic yardage on the carts and not offering yardage books for sale, the place is in great shape and a fun resort course

Played the Gallery Golf Club today. Overall I thought the course was in great shape. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens were all excellent except for a couple small areas. However, when we went into the restaurant for a beverage after our round I was a little disappointed. After ordering a couple beers, I noticed a "Service Charge" was added to my bill. I paid it and moved on. I then saw the restaurant manager and asked her what the "Service Charge" was for. She stated that it was a tip. I then said to her, "so then tipping is mandatory here? She responded with a firm "yes, tipping is mandatory". I have to say I was a little surprised. For some reason I always thought tips were a result of good service. So I definitely recommend playing the Gallery Golf Club but definitely check you bill if you go into the restaurant.

Hmmm….no technology on the carts, no map of the course. For members, probably fine but for resort guests who have never played the course, not so great. Course is in good shape but (very) questionable value for the cost.

Really nice golf courses. Especially the North Course! Spectacular piece of earth that this 18 holes sits on. Family and I stayed two nights at a very comfortable cottage next to the club house. We all had a great time. Lance and the staff were all very accommodating.
