So many mixed reviews about this course. Here’s an honest review. Staff is great. Facilities are very nice. Course is fun and challenging. Loved the up and down and views. The only real issue with the course are the greens. I would say that about 6 or 8 of the greens were a real mixed bag. A few looked like a patchwork quilt. All of them were pretty difficult to read and the rougher ones do not roll well. Hard to really score here given such unpredictable conditions. The greens aside, I really enjoyed my round. Great views, lots of up and down. A few ravines that must be cleared. Which brings us to the Wicked 6… nothing to fear here. Just be smart, plan your shots, don’t assume driver off every tee, swallow your pride and layup if you need to. As for value, it just depends on your options and expectations. I thought everything about the facility was on point for the $$ except the greens…. So I took off one point. YMMV

Course layout is challenging and very scenic. Wicked 6 is fun to play. A few greens have some patches but nothing that influenced the game. Fairways and rough were perfect. Would play again.

SunRidge Canyon Golf Club was fantastic to work with for our charity golf tournament. The entire team was professional, organized, and a pleasure to work with, and our golfers had an amazing experience from start to finish. The course itself was in incredible condition and received endless compliments all day. Kris and Greg’s attention to detail made the planning seamless and the event our best one yet. We received nothing but great feedback and are already hoping to return next year. Highly recommend SunRidge Canyon for any tournament or special event.

This is a public service announcement for anyone looking to try out this course for the first time. For nearly $200 you can expect to find a course in average shape, with a third of the greens looking like they’ve been cut with a cheese grater, and more bald spots than a senior men’s league. The other 12 greens weren’t much to write home about either. Where I’m from, if a course looked like this, they’d close until further notice. After I brought up my concerns I learned the only thing they’re rolling out here is excuses. Save your money, find a different course, and go look for better greens in a Costco parking lot.

SunRidge and The Wicked 6 are challenging, scenic and memorable! Each hole has its ups and down…literally! There are tons of elevation changes, doglegs and deadly fast greens. Seriously, beware the downhill putts as they will run run run! Be on the lookout for wildlife. Rattlers, bobcats and coyotes roam freely. Otherwise simply just enjoy! Curvy cart paths, boulders, mountains, saguaro, cholla, everything about this course oozes with the Arizona aspects that we have all come to love. Go. Golf. Go again! Bit pricey…but you get what you pay for folks!
