This course consistently came highly recommended after searching around the internet for top-end desert golf in the Scottsdale area, and it absolutely did not disappoint. I played Cholla, and the course overall was in excellent shape, with nicely maintained tee boxes and beautiful greens. The course represents what I’d consider to be true desert golf, and with that comes an excellent challenge. The views of the surrounding mountains are basically panoramic, and a joy to take in. Rental clubs were very nice as well. The facilities are above what I anticipated; the clubhouse is beautiful, clean, and perfectly maintained, as was the range and halfway house. Frankly, there’s little to complain about. And compared to other courses of the same caliber in the region, the price point is incredibly reasonable. If you are considering this course, just book it now!

Wekopa Golf Club stands out as one of the premier public facilities and courses in the Southwest. Both courses offer distinct experiences. Cholla, with its tighter layout and focus on target golf, provides a more intimate and challenging experience. In contrast, Saguaro is significantly larger, offering a more expansive and varied landscape. Regardless of the season, both courses maintain exceptional condition, excluding routine maintenance. The staff is consistently friendly and professional, and the on-site restaurant is great for a bite to eat before or after your round. Having played multiple rounds at Wekopa Golf Club, I have consistently enjoyed each visit. If you are planning a golf trip to Arizona, I highly recommend Wekopa Golf Club.

We-Ko-Pa is inviting and friendly, everyone from the bag drop staff to the pro shop to starter and rangers were exceptional… much like the golf course itself. Wonderful, enjoyable track (only played Saguaro but the local I played with said he likes the other course even better). Fairly open fairways for the mid handicap but challenging enough for lower GHINs from the purple or Saguaro tees. Enjoy!

What an amazing experience!! Course was incredible but tough, views on every hole. The staff were friendly and stayed late so our foursome could grab dinner which was delicious! Can't wait to come back and play Cholla next time⛳️

The golf courses are in excellent shape with fast greens and friendly staff. The Cholla course is a lot more difficult than the Saguaro but both are very well maintained and fun to play.Their restaurant called the Grilled has outstanding food for a a decent price and the wait staff is very friendly and good!😊
