An iconic desert resort course in Casa Grande, Francisco Grande opened in 1961 and was once a training site for baseball spring training. The par 72 layout stretches to nearly 7,500 yards from the tips, making it one of Arizona's longest. Designed by Ralph Plummer, it features wide corridors and big, elevated greens. Water hazards guard several holes, creating both challenge and beauty. A large driving range and full practice facilities support its resort reputation.

Well first off, it’s in the middle of no where. The building, rooms and nearly everything inside the rooms is completely out-dated. The thermostat would kick on the ac when I had the heat turned on. The “fitness center” is a joke as the machines were broken down, some taken apart and the broken pieces were just laying on the floor which is dangerous and a hazard. Also, for the $530 bucks I paid for a few nights, the fact that there was no continental breakfast is insane. I would NOT recommend this hotel, and I would never stay here again…

We ate lunch in the bar the service was great our server and Bartender was Andy. The food was fantastic too. Off season so pro Shop and Gulf Coarse are closed but we walked around checking out the place. Really cool old Spring Training wall art. Overall a great stop for lunch. We will be back for dinner.

I’ve only been to Francisco Grande for the soccer fields, for my son’s games, and it’s always a great experience. The fields are well-kept, and the whole place has a really nice, welcoming environment. My boyfriend has also golfed here and said it’s a really nice course. I haven’t eaten here myself, but many of my clients have told me the food is great—definitely on my list to try! ⚽️ ⛳️

Although we didn't stay in the hotel, the amenities and Duke's Bar were great! Old world Western charm from John Wayne's era. Well worth the visit!! Please support this business!

We recently hosted our 100-Year celebration at Francisco Grande, and the experience was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious and received many compliments from our guests. Michelle was incredibly helpful and responsive every step of the way—from taste testing, to planning, to ensuring the event was executed perfectly. She was truly a pleasure to work with. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and very receptive to feedback and suggestions, making sure everything was carried out exactly how we envisioned. Cindy was also on-site assisting with setup and ensuring the event flowed smoothly from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better team or venue for such a special milestone. Highly recommend!
