Alaska likely isn't your first thought for a golf vacation but if you golf and you're in town I recommend getting out. Played the creek course. Great layout, challenging. Conditions were a little rough but hey it's Alaska not Scottsdale.

Great prices and a great place to get a round of golf in not to mention you can't beat the views. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful as well!!!

First time at JBER Moose Run Golf Course as a new participant in the PGA Hope Program in partnership with the Alaska VA. The course is beautifully maintained and majestic in its splendor and blending with the natural forests. The course is lightly populated with golfers and there is no wait for tee times. This is a definite must go for golfers in Anchorage.

While I'm a newer golfer this course is great I have played both the creek and hill courses and had a great time! Super beautiful with great views on evey hole! The creek course is definitely advanced so if you are unsure play hill! The staff are always super helpful and very professional!

I wouldn't recommend using this course as a fitter. Not really an actual "fitting" more just hit a bunch of things and see what feels good. No actual data given or analyzed. Also, they do not respond to emails or answer calls for follow ups. Look elsewhere for a fitting, which is more than likely out of state.
