the greens were super slow and the fairways were just hard pan.. you could literally putt out of the bunker. the tee boxes were terrible and the only good part were the fairways

I played this course for the first time today and wasn't expecting too much after the many bad reviews. But I was very pleasantly surprised. You can see that the new owner and his pro put a lot of money and heart and soul into the course. Greens were great, fairways very playable, bunkers still need work. However, the course is very challenging and varied. Not everything is perfect yet, but I am confident that this course will be one of the best in the region in 1-2 years. Keep up the good work!

I had a good time. The cart paths are horrid. Wear a kidney belt to ride them, or go slow. Not much for merch. Food was closed for the day that I went. It shouldn't have been. It was a beautiful day. I had to hike to the range. They were short of carts which postponed out tee time 30 minutes. Not ideal, but I still had fun after getting started.

I actually went to play emerald mountain not a expecting much, boy was I wrong! The course is in great shape. The greens are some of the best greens I've played on. They aren't very fast, just the way I like it. The layout can be a little challenging with narrow fairways and forced carries over a creek. Don't let the pictures you see online lead you to believe the course is in bad shape. Go check it out for yourself. I'm eager to go back to try it again.

Will not ever go there again. Had 2 balls hit within a foot of me. No Fore yelled. Contacted the staff. The staff let the 2 people that stayed ""YOU WANT TO FIGHT ABOUT?!" STAY AND PLAY 9 MORE HOLES. NEVER AGAIN WILL A PENNY OF MONEY GO THERE.
