Private 18-hole club in Tuscaloosa known for a tree-lined, parkland layout that rewards accuracy off the tee. The course opened in 1959 and has been updated over the years, including a renovation led by John LaFoy, while retaining the strategic feel of Leon Howard's original design. Back tees play to roughly 6,374 yards at par 71, with enough movement in the terrain and green surrounds to keep single-digit players engaged. Indian Hills maintains full practice facilities including a driving range and short-game areas, supporting a very active member golf calendar. Membership is private-non-member play is limited to invited guests of members.

Outstanding course and great staff. The course is always in great shape and the entire team makes it an awesome experience. Challenging, but rewarding layout makes for a great experience. Highly recommended!

I used to adore this place, but it seems to be going downhill quickly. My main issues are in the dining room. Ever since the new chef started, the food has been subpar to say the least. I recently had the red snapper here, and it wasn’t even edible. I had to excuse myself to the restroom in the middle of my family dinner, because I felt as if I was going to get sick. The dish I replaced it with was so mundane I can’t even remember what I got. Some wonderful staff don’t work here any longer as well. It’s almost as if this place is just becoming yet another revolving door. I’m definitely considering ending my membership. If I wanted to waste money, I would’ve gone to Applebees, but at least they’re consistent.

I come to this place every Thursday for Rotary club as we meet at 7:00am. The room that we meet in is always clean and inviting. The AV equipment is top notch. The sevice is top notch. And always with a smile. And our breakfast is always hot, and very good. So overall the facilities are very good. I would definitely recommend to any group that wants a first rate experience for their members.
