Oh, you know, gee — we had such a good time playing at Colonial Golf Course in Meridianville! The Fairway Golf Society Queens and I had an absolute blast. The course was in great shape, and we definitely made the most of the day — even though the marshal had to get on to us a few times (yes, we admit it… we weren’t exactly following all the rules 😅). No complaints at all — just good vibes, lots of laughs, and great memories. Next time, we’ll probably pick a less busy time so we can play at our own pace and really soak it all in. Either way, Colonial was a fun experience and we’ll be back for round two soon!

The pro shop was well stocked and the employees were very kind. When I mentioned I had never been there before, they made sure to to show me where all the amenities were located. I came as a single, walking, and they paired me with men with golf carts; one single and two guys riding together. Together. Not terrible, but I did have to hoof it to keep up but thankfully the course is really made for walkers. Not a lot of elevation changes, not a lot of walking between greens and two boxes. The course is in pretty good condition, except for under trees and I play a lot from the edges. Ground under repair 🙂. All in all, a nice course to go to and I think the people of meridianville are lucky to have it.

Very courteous and knowledgeable staff compliment a great value golf course! In spite of the rain and cart path only, the tees, fairways and greens were in great shape. Still managed to finish in under 4 hours today. Will definitely keep Colonial on punctuation! And the best egg salad and pimento cheese sandwiches! IYKYK!

I haven’t played in years and wanted to try and play 9 holes with my 6 month old. I called ahead and asked when the best quiet time to come out and play solo as to not bother anyone. The staff was very accommodating, welcoming and made me feel right at home my our first time out.

This 18-hole, 72-par course is beautifully designed, with lush greens, well-maintained fairways, and challenging rough. Recent renovations include flawless grass carpets and superbly renovated greens, enhancing the overall playability. The facilities are top-notch, featuring a welcoming clubhouse and a pro shop. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable visit. The cart boys deserve special mention for their enthusiasm and mannerisms. As a veteran, I appreciated the much-appreciated discount, showing the club's support for the military community. The only minor drawback was the ultra sensitive GPS cart-locking system, which occasionally stopped the cart on the path. Additionally, the absence of a driving range might be noticed by some, but the course itself offers plenty of opportunities to warm up. Despite these minor inconveniences, Colonial Golf Club provides an outstanding blend of challenge, beauty, and hospitality. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or a beginner, this course offers a memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a top-tier golfing adventure.
