A Lurker! I've always heard army golf, an expression for someone who hits to the left and to the right and to the left and to the right, but when you come out to the links at Redstone it doesn't matter where you go, the grass is well maintained and the greens are fast. It's true that the right side of the fairway seems to have extended and well-mannicured feather beds for the member of your foursome that likes to swing too hard, but who doesn't mind playing from the edges? There are two courses, and they are completely of different character. The course to the West, The Patriot, plays like traditional course with mild elevation changes and dog legs and tree lined fairways. The course to the east, the warrior, is more of a links style course with rolling hills and mild topography; don't let that lull you into a false sense of complacency, because they also let the grass grow long in between the fairways. The pro shop is well stocked and the employees are friendly. I haven't eaten at the grill, but I plan to. The prices are better than fair and we're lucky to have it here in Huntsville. You'll have to figure out a way to get on the base.

Rented clubs and played on a beautiful Wednesday. The warrior course is fun. Not super long, but the fairways are narrow. If you miss the fairway, your ball is probably gone forever. Something in the rough gave me and my partner a rash instantly, so be careful of that. Also, there were millions of bugs flying around (and I mean millions).

We were excited to do 9 holes on the green today, the staff was very friendly and the prices aren't too bad the golf course was very well maintained and fun. My only reason for the 4 is now mask are required in all buildings on Redstone, I do not have a problem with this but if they are required then businesses should at least furnish the throw away ones, my husband and I did not have any so we had to wrap our golf towel around out face. The Warrior course is phenomenal. You must have the ability to access a military installation but if you do this is a must play course. Esthetically awesome and just the right amount of difficulty. Prices are super affordable and the course is comparable to some private clubs. Give it a shot.

Bought army golf bag on 2 June 2025. For $247. Within 2 months seams started to separate around storage compartments. Called pro shop for help told they don't do warranty. Manufacturing company problem. No offer for contacts or how to proceed. Tried to find company information but with little luck. Called the pro shop again. Asked to talk to the Director of Golf. Told unavailable but to email him. Asked for email address and was told to busy and to long to text message it. Talked to golf pro at Pensacola Naval Station. He went out of his way to find information and contacts at manufacturer for warranty. Called company done and taken care of in less then 30 minutes. But they couldn't believe Redstone pro shop was no help.If you buy anything there make sure they will stand behind the warranty. Was disappointed with the pro shop employees.
