I wish i could rate Glenn Lakes higher than 5 stars. Where to begin… We played craft farms the day prior to glenn lakes. Craft farms was a huge letdown and seemed over hyped. We had a good time but nothing truly special or memorable. After that we searched not for the highest rated course but for the cheapest. Thats where we found Glenn lakes. Reviews were spotty. Price was right. It was conveniently located on our drive home from the beach. It fit the bill, we booked a noon tee time. We arrived at 11:30, the starter met us promptly in the parking lot and got us situated in a cart. He directed us to the clubhouse and gave us some great course details. The clubhouse is unremarkable, its older and not on par with some of the newer more fancy clubs. The pro shop is small and carries a small array of golf goods. Everything you might need for a match. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The clubhouse had a hometown course vibe. Alot of older folks hanging out enjoying themselves. Not over the top or pompous, more like a community center. The hotdogs at the turn were bar none! At this point we fully expected a goat track municipal course, boy were we wrong!! This course is incredible! The conditions beat the more expensive craft farms by leaps and bounds! From tee boxes to greens this course is near pristine! The course looks like something you'd see in the Scottish highlands. Huge undulating fairways and greens. A true testament to golf architecture and development. Play is incredible as well. The course doesn’t beat you to death and make you hate golf. Instead it almost offers two roads on each hole each with distinct choices and outcomes. Beyond measure, it’s extremely fun! Bring a range finder! The carts don't have gps and theres a ton of incline and decline. I met a few preachers on the course and saw several Christian references in the pro shop. Jesus is alive and well at Glenn Lakes. Its refreshing to see America healing in a way that God, the outdoors and a great sport have come together in such a moving way to touch lives. This was hands down the best golf experience Ive ever had! I felt welcome and never pushed or got pushed all day. If youre looking for luxury or to have a brag worthy notch on your belt this may not be the place. But if you love golf, beautiful courses and a good time then this place has all of the vibes! Run don’t walk to Glen Lakes! This place is an underrated gem! I wish I lived closer. Huge thanks for the awesome day.

Real nice golf course for many handicaps levels. Well maintained. Nice clubhouse. Good friendly staff. Smooth greens. Interesting holes that require challenging shots. But also a pleasant experience. Could be a lot of fun for players who know how to work the ball left and right, and enjoy side hill and up and down lies. Water features pose challenges and eat balls. Some elevated greens with blind approach shots...can't see green size, layout and pin location. Wheee! Nice fairways, too. Good interesting experience overall for this guy who has played courses all across the country. I'll play it again!

Great course. Very family friendly. The pro shop lady and the starter were both great with my kids and spoke to them. Great value for the cost. Was able to pay for just 9 holes (all we wanted in the heat), and also able to pay a youth rate. Most other courses did not have a 9 hole rate and no youth rates mentioned online. Would’ve had to pay $500+ for a foursome at other courses. Paid $125ish for my foursome today and we could’ve played 18 under $200. If you’re visiting OB or GS it is worth the 20 minute drive to this course if you want to play for a reasonable price. Only suggestion would be to bring bug spray, had a lot of gnats near the end of the Lake course which bothered kids more than me.

Not terrible and fairly easy to play. Greens were odd to say the least. Almost a little shag carpet-like. Some were fast, some were slow. I would call this course unique. Still had a good time and would likely play it again to see if greens have changed.

Let me start by saying I am not an avid golfer. I was invited to play in a fundraiser event by a friend. It is an 18 hole course, driving range, and putting range, with clubhouse offering food and a full bar. Clubhouse is quite dated but sufficient. Carts are available and there is a mobile bar attendant on the course. The course is in decent shape. From my golfing friends perspective it is not an overly difficult course. Seems reasonable for the price.
