Had free pass that we actually won at a tournament at the course, they said they are no longer valid. Then proceeded to try and charge $34 for 9 holes. Course is a joke, RTJ prices for the recent upgrades they are obviously trying to make the money back. You know that saying "you can put lipstick on a pig". They lost three customers for sure.

They had really good customer service. They have a guy actually meet you and talk to you about the course before you get your cart and it's pretty cool. The course is pretty fun, the greens and tee boxes are nice, it's got nice scenery to play in. The only problem I have is a lot of the fairways were pretty rough. A lot of dirt and sandy patchy areas. But not in the center just off to the sides. All in all I'd play again for sure.

Not surprising the rates went up since they spent over a million dollars on renovations and Hunter Allen hiring his friends. It appears the course maintenance guys work hard, except for the few that you see just driving around or parked somewhere trying to look busy. Pretty sure the young guy running the place worked in the shop at Burningtree, must be another one of Mr. Allen’s friends. Staff is not friendly and act like it’s an inconvenience for you to be there. Save yourself some money and drive a little further for a better experience at a different course.

Bad experience at Point Mallard Golf Course. The first thing the guy at the front desk asked was whether we were from Decatur. When I told him no,he charged me an additional $13 bucks on top of that. Then I bought a small bucket of range balls, only to find the bucket was barely half full. If I’m paying for a bucket of balls, I expect a full bucket, not half of one. Between the extra charge and not even getting what I paid for on the driving range, this place left a terrible impression. This was my first visit of the summer, won’t be going back . There are plenty of other golf courses that I pay less for and still better greens and service.

Wet but will dry out..proshop is great…logo excellent and snack bar huge improvement…Slaw-dog and fries…great👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
