The Founders Course by Bob Cupp and U.S. Open champion Hubert Green is the club's original championship venue and long-time host of elite professional events. It blends generous landing areas with green complexes that demand precise trajectories and spin. Water hazards and bold fairway contouring create options on several par-5s, while a set of stout par-4s anchors the challenge. Conditioning is consistently tournament grade, fitting for host duties. Together with Legacy, it forms one of Alabama's premier 36-hole private facilities.

Beautiful club. Great experience during the PGA Pro Am tournament senior tournament. This club put on a wonderful tournament. Very accommodating especially to the elderly and disabled.

Very nice place that really reflects the region’s tradition and charm. The course is well kept, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is friendly. Definitely a great spot to spend some time and enjoy the experience.
