Excellent salad bar and soup. Service was fast and friendly. Prices fair. Great views throughout the dining room. Prices good for quality of food.

Delicious fish fry that included a massive salad bar and the best clam chowder soup I have ever had. Fair prices, friendly staff.

We had reservations for the thanksgiving buffet at 2:00, we waited over half an hour to be seated. It seemed they grossly overbooked for the event. The food was neither hot or fresh, in fact a lot of sides weren’t even lukewarm. Hopefully they paid the staff well because they were overwhelmed and working very hard. Needless to say we will not be going back as it seemed the were more interested in how many people they could push through over quality of food, at $140 for two people I expected much better.

Trappers Turn Golf Club is not a safe or welcoming place for African Americans to dine. I am an African American woman who visited as part of a tour with kind, friendly people. The tour itself was excellent—my driver was amazing, and I give the tour 10 thumbs up. Unfortunately, the experience at the Trappers Turn restaurant was completely different and deeply disturbing. Our waiter was openly prejudiced, disrespectful, and hostile toward my family. He had a nasty attitude, spoke to us rudely, and maintained an aggressive, mean expression the entire time. At one point, he snatched the menu out of my hand and mumbled a racial slur (“n***”) under his breath**, which I clearly heard. My entire family heard it as well. I immediately reported this behavior to the manager. The manager said he would come over to speak with us—but never did. We were ignored. I felt extremely uncomfortable, disrespected, and unsafe, and I could not wait to leave. This was one of the most upsetting dining experiences I have ever had. I have never experienced this level of racism in a restaurant before, and it is unacceptable. I am sharing my story to warn others—especially African Americans and anyone who values respect and equality—to think twice before dining here. Racism should never be tolerated, and Trappers Turn Golf Club failed us completely. If I could give this below zero stars, I would. The experience was frustrating, poorly handled, and completely unacceptable.

Second year visiting the new years eve buffet. This will definitely be our new years tradition. Food is always fresh and tastes phenomenal. Service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend. Even the price is reasonable for everything offered.
