The food was awesome! I had a caesar salad, smoked gouda, and some fries. Also, the service was really good. I just wish they had used reusable cups for water. We only had reusable cups for our beer. All of those single-use plastic cups are so harmful to the environment! Reply to owner: It's great to hear that you are green certified. However, I wish there was more of an effort to reduce plastic consumption rather than justify it (reduce, reuse, then recycle). If our beer was served in reusable cups, our water could have been served in reusable cups as well. I recommend ditching the single-use plastic cups and using only reusable cups for a more sophisticated look as well.

We were in a bind and needed a last minute room late at night. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Wish we could have enjoyed the place more. Indoor pool & hot tub, arcade, bar, and restaurant. This would be a great place for a family with kids. All the rooms open up poolside. And the whole resort is on a lake for the true northwoods experience.

First time at this resort, beautiful area even in the winter, the main building is very old and needs updated or refurbished. Doors don't close properly on the bathroom we had old box spring mattresses, but they were actually comfortable with my bad back. The noise coming from the pool until almost midnight was unacceptable. We went out and yelled at the people once the desk should be able to hear it too . Some people have no common senses or courtesy. The windows on the room facing the hallway are weird they serve no purpose and create privacy issues as blinds don't close well . Staff was decent the dining area was great with good breakfast and a beautiful view . I would only stay again if pool noise was stopped after 10pm and it was a discounted rate . This is a very old and dated worn out building but a fabulous location year round .

We had a great time playing BINGO and having breakfast here with friends. The restaurant/bar was clean and our food was delicious. I appreciated the healthy choices on the menu, the prices were very reasonable, and both the bartender and waitress were top notch! This is a cool place to stop via snowmobile!

I would think twice before renting from Lakewoods resort. We rented two sleds from them and both had issues and they weren't willing to work with us. The first sled was rented for a day and over night $440! It made it 4 hours and I couldn't get it to start. There service was terrible, I had to return the sled to them(load it in my trailer) I was not offered a replacement or any reimbursement of any sort. The other sled we had rented for three days and that one would also would not start the next morning. Lakewoods told use we could swap this one with a different one. They sent guys to pick it up but then did NOT bring us a replacement. So we had to go down the and get it. Going on 5 days now The manager Ken won't answer my calls or call back. 2021 model ski-doos with 9,000+ miles on them. their mechanic made the comment that all their sleds are having issues.
