This place is a pit. Greens all burned out and fairways not maintained. I had a ball on the green that was bouncing in the air from all the dead grass and ripped up ground after a put. Their prices are stupid for the condition the course is in. For $10 more you can go to Luck and golf an actual nice course. People at the desk never seem to be able to run a schedule. They never have enough carts, most of the carts are broken. Other golf courses in the area are comparable to price and much nicer.

I was really excited to try this course. I’m staying with my in-laws for several weeks this summer and I was planning to play the course multiple times throughout my time in Wisconsin. This morning, I had a brief open window and figured I’d test things out by checking out the driving range. I went inside and asked if I could rent some clubs to hit a bucket of balls. Unfortunately, there was only a single bag of left-handed clubs—in which there were maybe 5 clubs (not counting the putter), all looking 25+ years old and not in great condition. That was fine, I’ve hit worse, but the guy working the counter was incredibly apathetic about it. When I went to pay, he told me it would be $15, which is crazy steep for a rental/bucket of balls. On top of that, the ATM inside charges a $2.75 transaction fee. So… to hit a bucket of balls, it was going to cost me about $18. Insane—especially when the website says $5 for a club rental and $5 for a small bucket. Makes me think he was either trying to rip me off and give me a bad deal, or he just didn’t want to bother with my business in the first place. It would’ve been one thing if the guy working the counter was helpful, kind, or anything, really. But the whole experience left me with a bad feeling. In the end, I walked away from the transaction, hugely disappointed. Now I’m looking for other courses in the area to play at.

Course needs a lot of work. Only played the front 9. Basically no sign of actual fairways, greens are in tough shape and tee boxes aren’t anything to write home about either. Majority of the carts don’t even run. You get what you pay for I guess. Could be a fun course if it was maintained, there’s potential here.

Not a single thing to complain about here! For the price you pay I don’t know how they do it! We pay way more at other courses with far worse conditions thanks for having us guys!

I have been golfing at Five Flag for 17 years. The course is only 9 holes so I go around twice for my 18 hole score. It is always in great shape. Jamie , Tony and Dallas work so hard to keep it up. You can't find nicer people. They are so friendly that it makes you feel you are part of the five flags family.
