Decided to give this course a try on my way back from another course. Fairly challenging 9 hole layout. Was in great shape. About as good as I've seen in a nine hole course!

In short the staff here are communicative and friendly - but the service is just not what is to be expected. The long review is simple, I received bad service in the form of being double booked and my group being penalized for it despite us not being at fault. I think that deserves a bad review so hopefully the experience is not repeated. My group of 11 wanted to do a golf trip out for which we chose Wittenberg Wisconsin as an affordable option. We booked a property to stay at, those flying in bought their tickets, and we all took the day before off to catch up before our day of golf. We booked our tee times online as its the 21st century but even gave a call since I misclicked and chose the wrong date which I fixed with the nice staff and confirmed our outing. We booked a month out - as early as allowed to make sure all is well. Everything was set for a wonderful outing until two days before our arrival to Wittenberg we are informed our reservation is cancelled. They were hosting a day long event with a large organization. The compensation offered to myself and by extension my group is that they had tee times open again at 5 PM. A group of 11 looking to play 18 holes at 5 PM is not compensation in my mind - its an irrational gesture. All our bookings as a group were beyond the refund period and instead of finding a compromise on short notice they essentially offered us nothing. This just isn't how businesses should operate. So yes, I have grief with this business for their general mismanagement of myself and my group's time though admittedly they'll do it with a smile. I understand the unique nature of my scenario but like I said this is bad business and it going unaddressed would be disheartening. I hope that this business takes the right steps to address whatever issues resulted in this unfortunate outcome.

Very nice little 9 hole course close to home.

Great little 9 hole gold course. No frills, but course was super fun and was in great shape even after some morning rain before we played. Kelly tends bar and takes care of the golfers was awesome. Funny, sarcastic and super informative . Would definitely go back
