My wife and I stayed here for two nights to celebrate our anniversary, and overall we were very happy with our experience. We visited from Friday to Sunday, and the lodge was bustling with guests and events, including two weddings. Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The only downside right away was the $15 per night parking fee, which felt unnecessary. We booked a Superior River King room on the third floor, which had an incredible view of the gorge. The room itself wasn’t huge, but it was clean, cozy, and perfect for the two of us. With views that stunning, I only wish the rooms had floor-to-ceiling windows to really take it all in. The newly renovated pool and spa areas were a highlight. The pool is large and beautiful, and the outdoor hot tub was especially relaxing, surrounded by trees and the sound of a waterfall feature. There’s also an indoor hot tub, plus additional hot tubs and saunas in each locker room—plenty of options to unwind. The lodge offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but prices are on the higher side, as you’d expect at a resort. We ended up heading into Stevenson just a quick 5-minute drive away to try some local restaurants, which turned out to be a great choice. One small inconvenience was the lack of bottled water in the room. At night I found myself wandering the resort trying to find some, only to discover the vending machines were out. Eventually, I came across a water fountain on my floor, but it would have been nice to have bottled water provided. All in all, I’d recommend this lodge to anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest in a peaceful, relaxing setting.

We stayed here as it was recommended due to the location of a wedding we were attending. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the views from the lobby were truly amazing. The hotel has a cozy, lodge-style atmosphere, though it is on the dim side. Unfortunately, the rooms felt dated and the beds were uncomfortable. While we can see why some people love this hotel, it just wasn’t the right fit for us.

Our first time visiting the grounds of Skamania. The setting is beautiful with a sculpted yet natural landscaping. We attended a wedding while visiting the area and stayed in the large villa just past the glamping walled tent area. The villa was well appointed and the beds were terrific. All of the staff were very friendly and did anything possible to make our stay a memorable and super pleasant experience. The ammonites are great with plenty to do for anybody that enjoys the outdoors. The wedding venue was magical, the food undeniably delicious all the guest were blown away by the entire experience.

Great location and the people are really nice, but the pricing of the resort fee and the folio at the end of the trip is not transparent. After multiple calls to clear up random charges, I was again charged for the resort fee 3 weeks after I stayed there. No one I spoke to could explain why and no one was willing to take responsibility or reverse the charges.

This is one of my best stays in united state so far. They offer large variety of activities like spa, hot tub, zip lining etc. We were unable to get availability of spa due to long weekend as they were fully booked but the hot tub outdoors was soothing. The rooms were also clean and spacious as mentioned. Would highly recommend if looking for a peaceful getaway.
