This was me first time trying to learn how to golf. My family is very into golf! They have been playing down river for over 45 year's. My mom Karen is part of the ladies league and my dad Gary, well he was a baby on this course and his house were he grew up is only 4 blocks away. They know everyone down at this course. I'm mean just ask the people there! They can play this course in their 😴😴💤💤. They love it so much. You will probably see them there!

Classic Spokane course kept up well and well managed. A must play. The people there always impress me and this year the rangers and starter were especially great. The play was faster than any other round I have had at a Spokane city course (906 start time). Part of that was the good starter who was coaxing things along. The excellent ranger went out of his way. I left one of my wedges. The group behind me hadn't seen it but told the ranger when he was doing rounds. He found me, asked what the club was and returned five minutes later with it. I was so grateful and can't believe how nice that was.

Honestly its a great course. My problem is the management. The Marshall is rude in general. However, most recently i was at the driving range with my kids. It was a little after 5:00 when we arrived. I bought a couple buckets which they gladly sold me. Other golfers were on the range as well. A little ways into our bu ket one of the pros pulled up and told us we had to leave because they close at 5:30. I asked him why he would sell 2 large buckets if he knew they were closing in 20 mins. He didnt have an answer and just said we had to leave. The management of the course sucks.

Been playing the is golf course for a while now. In my 30 years of playing golf I’ve never seen Marshall’s that have been this rude. The front desk people in the pro shop were very rude everyone is very rude besides the very nice starters and the people that are there to play golf. I’ve seen plenty of reviews and I’m tired of Marshall’s pushing people on the course I saw it with a lot of groups today. Very disrespectful to make someone feel rushed especially when they don’t. It’s OUR fault that YOU have a backup on each hole when everyone is playing at a good pace. I’m tired of it and I saw it a lot this evening. Do not recommend this place.

This is a nice golf course and is currently in great condition. Some challenging holes, but not so many as to take the fun out of play. The multi-level green on #15 is not to be missed. But......... There is a large cadre of regular players who monopolize morning tee-times. Slots are hard to come by, except before 7:00 am. If you get one, be prepared to play at 4-hour pace or better (for 18) or you WILL get "counseled" by the marshals or even the Pro. We were on a 4:30 pace with 2 holes to play and were required to skip #17 to make way for the "whales". Really ruined an otherwise enjoyable day. Play fast or play in the afternoon.
