A good place to take someone learning to play or if you are trying to learn yourself. Found it real enjoyable when it is hot out. Peak summer.

If you are looking for a pro level golfing experience go somewhere else. If you are learning how to hit the ball come here. We started and had the whole course to ourselves. No one was behind or in front of us. The hole layouts are a lot of fun, mostly open but have some very thick rough. The fairways feel like what you would expect from a rough at another course. The greens are fast but have divots leaving you guessing where your put will go. Overall this was a lot of fun for $10 to play 9 holes. It was $15 for a cart though we walked. It is a very walkable course. They also had pushcarts available. It is an honors system when you walk up. Something you don’t see much these days. Very happy with my time at Gateway and will be coming again.

This is golf in its purest form. It’s a cow pasture, the way golf was invented and invented to be. Come play this course. Bring lots of balls, leave your shoes in the truck and put $10 in the box. I promise you won’t regret it.

Very unprofessional. Called to ask about a driving range (photos on Golfpass show driving stalls) and he answered the phone with only ‘hello’. I wasn’t even sure I reached the golf course. I asked if they had a driving range and he simply said ‘no, we don’t’ And then was silent. I said thank you and he hung up. Deters me from even wanting to go play a round.
