Description

Druids Glen Golf Club in Covington delivers one of the state's most scenic and demanding public golf rounds. With rolling terrain, huge greens, and thick forest framing every hole, it's a true shotmaker's course. The layout includes forced carries and strategic water features, making it a challenging test for experienced golfers.

Pro: Starter was really nice and friendly, I jokingly told him he is one spoiled child because he graduated from USC. Cons: Condition is probably the worst out of all the public courses I have ever played, and way overpriced. Usually, conditions on the fairways are bad, but good greens tend to make up for it, I mean tolerable. This one is totally bad all around. Also, this course really has no views whatsoever except for maybe 1 hole where the tip of Mt Rainier is visible. I rather spend my time and money golfing at White Horse GC, if I ever visit Seattle again.

Absolutely one of the best courses in the state. Tough but fair if you play the right tees for your game. They just hosted US Open local qualifying and the course is in great shape. If you're a weekend duffer the price may feel steep, but if you're looking for a course that's both stunningly beautiful and will test your game (course rating of 75.3, slope rating 142), Druids is an excellent value in King County. To put it another way, you'll have to drive an hour or catch a ferry to play a course of this caliber for less money.

Over priced for the condition that it is in. The greens are good and tee boxes are good but the over all condition in the fair ways is horrible. Not worth 100+ and food and bev and balls very over priced too (17.50 for 3 pro -v 1) a bit of a goat track. I would save the money and play somewhere better kept. Course lay out is good

A challenging course with some interesting holes that potentially take Driver out of your hands on the tee. driving range and pro shop are great. Fairways and tee boxes are not in good condition. Some fairways were like hitting off concrete. Green speeds were inconsistent. And apparently nobody fixes their ball marks here. I found myself repairing 5+ new marks on most greens (I teed off before noon)

Out of the 50+ courses I’ve played This is the worst I’ve ever seen or played and it’s an absolute shame. Beautifully designed and built course that looks like it hasn’t had a greens keeper in a decade or they grossly over fertilized and killed everything. The fairways were like dried river beds mixed with asphalt. Everything was dead, the bunkers had rocks bigger than golf balls and were too shallow to even hit out of unless you like snapping the head off your club. They should close and take a year or two to repair the grass because they shouldn’t charge people anything, let alone over $100, to play there. The pictures on the site are completely inaccurate. Will absolutely never be back. Photos are the fringe and fairway on 18 and the entire course was like this.
