I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The room was definitely outdated and the service was average. However, the river trail was lovely — quiet, with fresh air and beautiful surroundings. We walked and chatted for hours, which was the highlight of our stay. I booked the night using Hyatt points, so I could only get the “Resort View” room — which basically means no real view. The river view would have been much nicer. Still, since it was only for one night and we had both dinner and breakfast at the resort with a river/mountain view, it balanced out. As for the food, I’d read reviews beforehand and knew not to expect much. I just ordered a burger — overpriced, of course — but it was fine. Overall, not a bad stay for a short getaway, especially if you enjoy quiet walks by the river.

We chose the Suncadia Lodge as a perfect "basecamp" for adventures in the Yakima Valley - and I do mean fly fishing! We loved our room, the service was attintive and charming, and the location was beautiful and perfect! The main restaurant was closed for our midweek visit, but the full menu was available in their well-appointed bar, and the service there was outstanding. Room was superb and well priced for what we got - full suite with Kitchen, luxurious bath, balcony and great views. The Lodge is beautiful and a great place to rest and recovery before getting back out on the river for more big Trout! We will be back very soon!

What an amazing resort! I have NOTHING negative to say. Rooms have everything you could need, top of the line kitchens, comfy beds & bedding, and clean with nice furnishings. Restaurant is top notch with awesome views. Full bar too! Multiple pools/hot tubs indoor/outdoor, water slides, and a full service spa. Miles and miles of gorgeous land. Trees, mountains, water, beautiful sunsets.... views that are breathtaking! Nothing is old or outdated. Everything is clean and top of the line. Be ready to drive an extra 10 minutes just getting to the lodge from the road. The property is huge.

Very disappointing experience at Suncadia Resort and Lodge. When we arrived, they couldn’t find our reservation and told us we’d have to pay more for a different room just to check in — and that “different room” ended up facing the parking lot. Two different staff members assured me they would contact Booking.com to coordinate a refund and the price difference, but that never happened. The room itself was also a letdown — the AC unit was extremely loud and ran nonstop, there were flies buzzing around inside, and it took several minutes just to get hot water for a shower. For the price and reputation of this resort, the service and accommodations were far below expectations. I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

What a wonderful experience! They provide smores supplies every evening. They have a coffee shop In the lobby area. Free place to play pool. 1,000 step stairs was fun and challenging. Rooms were in excellent condition with kitchenettes. Lots of hiking trails, small lake for kayaking, bike rentals. Nice walking path. I can't wait to come back. 10/10 recommend for this resort. Can get pretty windy at times.
