Gleneagle is a public golf course in Arlington. It's easy enough to get to and has a huge parking lot. The pro shop is smaller and their restaurant and bar area is a good size. Their range is in dire need of an upgrade, including buying more buckets for balls. The course itself was in good shape, with only a few dead spots on some greens. Prices here are pretty good and the course runs through a big community so driving a cart is recommended as it's sometimes minutes between holes. It's definitely on the easier side of difficulty for courses in the area but worth playing because of the value. Staff here are super friendly though, however the beverage cart was only seen twice through our whole round.

It was an average course. We had a good time but the course has no services at all! Even at the driving range for our warm up we had to shag our own balls because they didn’t have anyone retrieving balls. It’s 80° and there was no beverage cart at all!! The gal in the pro shop was very kind the pace of play was good. Also, very hilly course to walk!!

Bunkers were overgrown. Fairways were left with mulch and bad irrigation. Greens were ok. Some standing water on a few fringes. This place needs improvement or they should sell and let someone revamp it. Driving range also looked like a dump. They did however have cart girls go around quite a bit. That is where they get 1 star.

This course is family owned and constantly growing and improving. They strive for the ultimate best and may the greens or bunkers need improvement they have a staff who’s driven to make it better each and every day working dawn to dusk. Though it can’t all be fixed over night and be the high standard champion course you are searching for, it’s a personal and unforgettable experience golfing here. The staff has fun tending to you as each and everyone of them love their jobs like it isn’t one it’s a passion. They have regulars who come in daily who take the upmost pride in this course, while also meeting others, welcoming new friendships that will last. They have massively contributed helping Kathy Pat Wes & Paul create Men’s club, Women’s league, Horse Races and even countless tournaments to help raise money for certain foundations, businesses, and loads of community fundraisers. The food ranges from comfort to prime rib even crab on “Fresh Menu” nights as an ultimate rare experience you don’t get from other golf courses only serving bar food. This being premade fried food and over priced Cosco bought sandwiches to get you fed and out the door. The bar has any mixed drink/beer you can think of, with the staff being there for 5+ years experienced in the art of which taste you desire. The cart girls go above and beyond circling the course almost an annoying amount to make sure you are taken care of and take pride in doing so. Some courses you will see them once’s in 18 holes if at all. They have fun with you out there rooting you on and being respectful approaching you when taking that birdie shot! Now the prices are not like other courses this being because the experience isn’t like any you’ll receive elsewhere. This is a tournament course. It’s welcoming, challenging, even (let’s be real) frustratingly addicting at times! You’ll double bouge many holes but set a tee time for the next day. Prices have gone up everywhere and if you’d like to see more improvements then they need the funds to do so. The care for this course is there but it doesn’t just happen over night. It takes time to make it perfect and the dream they foresee. Your review is important in the fact they won’t know what’s needed to be fixed to make your experience better but it doesn’t need to be said in a hateful way because this course is very accommodating and will meet you half way or do what they can to make your experience better next time. Its family owned and always proudly and openly accepting criticism for improvement! This place is like no other.

We are members of Harvest Hosts, so we stayed the night in our RV and my husband golfed the next morning. I drove the cart and took pictures and it was lovely. We each had a beer at the pub the night before and we were greeted kindly and everyone was friendly.The course is in good shape and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his game.
