My family and I had a fantastic stay at Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa! The staff was incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. They even upgraded us with a cozy fireplace in our room for just $180, which made the whole experience feel extra special. The resort was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The spa amenities were top-notch, and the atmosphere throughout the property was peaceful and well-kept. We truly felt taken care of the entire time. Highly recommend Stoweflake if you’re looking for a warm, family-friendly, and relaxing stay in Stowe! Will definitely be returning! 🌲🔥💙

From the moment we arrived, everything was just so comfortable and welcoming. The check-in process was quick and easy, and our room was clean and cozy. The lobby was one of my favorite parts as it was beautifully decorated and always had a fire going in the fireplace. The lobby also always has tea and the continental breakfast was lovely. Although, what really makes this hotel stand out is the kind staff. My mom and I accidentally got locked out of our car, right after checking out of our room. It was a stressful moment to say the least, but the staff did everything they could to help us. They called around for us and found a locksmith that could get us back into the car. Duncan in particular was incredibly compassionate. He reassured me that everything would be ok, made me and my mom laugh, and even offered to buy us ice cream at the place across the street; incredible! This type of comfort and kindness is not easy to find. If you have the chance to stay here, please do! You’ll have peace of mind knowing that the staff here cares about you, which in this day and age is priceless.

I booked three rooms at Stowflake for three nights. My friends and I felt the employees were exceptional in going above and beyond, so helpful in planning our day and genuinely reaching out to us to make certain everybody was happy and had any questions were answered about hiking destinations and dining in the area. Extremely knowledgeable about places to go and things to do to suit all individual needs. Individual kudos to each and every employee Who assisted us these past three days. The manager was exceptional. Room was large, spacious and super clean. Easy access to All businesses and restaurants in town, making it a great location for a getaway. Kudos to the stoweBEE bakery, which was in walking distance. Idyltime and Piecasso We’re great restaurants just across the street. Open hearth was another restaurant that offered a great, cozy lunch setting and Michael’s on the hill. Had a wonderful dinner venue for my friends and my husband and I.

Room Is great and Beautiful. There is a nice gym and sauna and pool. Bathroom adventure not the greatest you might want to bring your own toilet paper. But other than that this experience was one of the if not the best hotel I’ve ever been to 5 stars. Would def come back

This was definitely one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The place is very outdated, dirty and in serious need of functional and asthetic repairs. Broken window in front entrance. No signs indicating where check in or any rooms are. Front staff very unprofessional and unhelpful. I was trying to check in and they couldn't be bothered to stop eating and do so. I asked where elevators were and they didn't know and acted like it was a very unusual question and I was bothering them. No offer to get a cart or help with luggage even though I was traveling alone with a child. Water bottles in room had already been opened so we couldn't use them. No bathrobes as advertised under amenities. Breakfast was something I would be embarrassed to serve. Stale bagels and pastries. Not sufficiently stocked water or coffee. Bad fruit. Had to take my child out for breakfast and incur additional expense. Room key kept malfunctioning and front desk was again, rude, unresponsive and unhelpful. Didn't even want to ask for anything at that point because of the way they responded to me. Also, apparently there is not great communication between staff... check out time was 11 and our door was knocked on by cleaning staff disruptively and repeatedly BEFORE that time to see if we had left. Very disappointed in this hotel and it's level of false advertising too. I will talk to my team members and encourage everyone to find a different place to stay next year. Either way, I will never consider staying here again myself. A hotel is a place that should be welcoming and accommodating not treat it's patrons like they are a nuisance and try to rip them off at every opportunity!
