A friend and I were so looking forward to our getaway. Such a disapointment. We are two older women and even though there were two young men at front desk, no one offered to help with bags. Were not given any information at desk or on room as far as amenities, free coffee, where spa was and we could use pool, yoga classes, etc. Went to front desk mid afternoon and asked for suggestions where to eat, man at desk said try McDonalds or Dunkin Donuts, really!!!! We drove into Manchester and found a very nice place. We were also told by guests not to get the expensive breakfast at hotel which was not good and went to local breakfast places. Also not told about hiking trails. When we checked out she just said goodbye, not how was your stay, safe trip, nothing. For the money we paid this was absolutely not worth it, would never go back or recommend. We're so looking forward to this stay. The only good thing were the technicians at the spa. It certainly on no way loved up to its reputation!!

We only stayed one night, thankfully. Room was aged, not well cleaned, and tub did not drain well…check in staff were not helpful. There were 2 check in employees at the front desk, one was on the phone, and after a few minutes she had to ask the other one to assist us… as he was carrying on a personal conversation with another employee directly in front of us. He did point us where to park outside by the spa though but made it seem intuitive on how to get to room. It was not. So we walked back (long walk) to check in so we could understand where our room was. Many of the TV channels could not get a signal. No pay for view movies being that we could not get access to a number of TV channels. We did request extra blankets and the staff that delivered were very prompt and courtesy. That was the one positive. Overall the outside and grounds were attractive, but inside was aged and not well taken care of. I would not recommend this hotel for the rates they charge. It is definitely not a luxury resort.

I’m not one to write reviews but we stayed at the Equinox for a little mini honeymoon. The area is beautiful but for the price I would never stay here again. The rooms air conditioning didn’t work so it was hot. The massages at the spa were lovely but the spa lockers rooms were gross. The showers didn’t work there either. Then we wanted to use the hot tub after a long hike and the water was cold. We asked them about it and they said “well it rained” this was 5pm so the hot tub should have warmed up by then.Then we went back to our room to shower and warm up and our shower was cold and never got hot. Some of the wait staff was rude and when they forgot our app, they acted like it was our fault. I get the hotel allows dogs and we have two dogs ourselves but they allowed dogs inside the restaurant (inside not in the patio) and this particular dog barked during their entire owners meal. Out room was never cleaned either. On check out we saw that we had a 50 dollar off coupon if you had massages but they wouldn’t honor it because it was suppose to be given at the spa which we charged to our rooms. In summary, what are we paying a 45 dollar per day resort fee if nothing is up to par? Is it because they have cornhole and fire pits. Or because two of the restaurants have the exact same menu?

We have stayed at this property a number of times throughout the years. However, our most recent stay this October was definitely the stand out. From the warm welcome at check-in provided by Tamika, to the service at falcon bar by Errington and Maddie, to Paul at the golf course. Every member of the Equinox team who we came in contact with was delightful. Our room was well appointed and could tell the housekeeping staff took a great pride in making sure that our room was cared for. It was even fun to take part in their trivia night on Tuesdays and wow what a dinner at the Chop House with Maxine as our server for their Thursday night date night prefix dinner. Definitely Looking forward to our next stay soon.

I recently stayed at the Equinox Resort and found the property to be truly beautiful, with stunning views of the mountains and a great location right in Manchester. The grounds are peaceful and the building itself has so much character and history. The staff I interacted with were warm and accommodating, and I really appreciated their efforts to make my stay comfortable. It’s a classic Vermont getaway that offers charm and relaxation — perfect for a quiet weekend escape.
