Unfortunately this hotel had few redeeming qualities. The room had no mini fridge, no room service, horrendous internet and the food at the location was generally pretty terrible. The best part was the stellar massage I got from Alex at their spa - probably the best massage I’ve had in 10 years. The location is quaint and very beautiful. But the hotel itself could do with a revamp, serious investment in proper internet which seems like a basic requirement for a hotel in this modern age, and service improvements.

Great place to stay, loved the history, you can still sense the old bones of the building. Great location , close to everything and they offer a lot of amenities on site. The bar/restaurants were good but tended to be easily stressed when busy often turning hotel guests away because the kitchen couldn't keep up. We were there during a busy time, but we were disappointed there wasn't basic take out menu or room service. If you have kids make reservations for everything. Rooms were great , however getting your room cleaned was a gamble, sometimes they made it to your room and sometimes they did not. At check in they should ask if you want your room cleaned daily. Overall great experience, highly recommend.

My family stayed in one of the duplex or townhouses for a ski weekend and it was pretty sub-par. The bedrooms and common rooms were in rough shape with lots of exposed pipes (other than sprinkler heads) and mineral stains, an unlocked utility room with mouse traps (that my kids could have found), stained carpets that look like animal urine and lots of beat up walls with no art or decor or anything and all the tv's had broadcast channels only, no smart tvs. I asked the front desk about a washer dryer for some wet ski clothes and got a very curt attitude. Surprised that a massive hotel and spa did not have a washer and dryer unit for guests. The pool was pretty nice, not super warm, we didn't go to restaurants but the takeout food was pretty good. We were there to ski so didn't stay in the rooms much but this place is for you if you're going to stay here with your golf/ski bros and not a family.

Do not book this hotel, overpriced and a rip-off. I booked 4 rooms for my family mid Feb 2026, no heating in some of the rooms in freezing Vermont, phones do not work, the bathroom and the structure are run-down. Motel 6 is a luxury hotel compared to this hotel. Totally understaffed, the poor service members are trying their best to help, but they do not have a chance to provide any acceptable level of service, shorthanded in a nonfunctioning facility. It looks like the owner is trying to milk as much cash as possible before the building totally falls apart. If you want to suffer and feel cheated, feel free to book this place. Dear Owner, (response to your reply): we booked in July 2025, 7 months ahead, at $375 per night per room. We received an accommodation and experience value of less than $80. Your website mentioned Luxury; it is Shabby. I have talked to some of your staff, and it is obvious that they are shorthanded and overworked. Exploiting your guests is not a Customer Service it is GREED!

Where do I start immediately? Upon entering the resort you will quickly notice how rundown it is. We were instructed to park in the rear of the facility where we found a completely frozen parking lot. The walk was treacherous. We got to our room and felt an immediate draft. All windows were closed but both had broken window panes. It was so cold in the room that the inside glass had ice all over it. See video. It stayed this way the whole stay. It required running the heater on full blast which quickly dries the air. When I tried to call the front desk the cordless phone was dead. I called from my cell phone and they said yeah it happens some time just unplug and plug back in. I said no I’m not crawling under the bed. They never sent anyone to fix it. The sink was cracked, soap dispenser not attached properly. The wait staff was short with every customer that wanted to eat. The food came out late to the point they comped it without us asking. Every morning they offer coffee. Both days it was empty and they had no answer except there is store up the road. The hot tub was shut down and the spa is in poor condition. When we went to front desk to let them know we were gonna check out two days early, they didn’t inquire as to if we were happy they simply said you will be charged a one night penalty. The disappointment in this facility reverberates through the halls. May guest were complaining while having general conversations. Save yourself the aggravation and save your money and bypass this place. It truly was disappointing.
