Description

Nibley Park is Utah's oldest public golf course and still holds up as a go-to spot for a relaxed 9. Located in central Salt Lake, its short layout and walkability make it ideal for beginners and those squeezing in a quick round. Simple, classic muni golf done right.

Could not have had more fun. Yes, the fairways aren’t perfect but this solid of greens for $17 is unmatched anywhere in the world I’ve played. Really challenging Par3s which makes this shorter course a bit challenging. Worth your time, especially if you only have a couple of hours. [clubs were rentals but the review is not based on rental club quality]

Nibley's muni charm shines—flat 9 for beginners, well-maintained without bells. Fairways forgiving, greens accurate. Urban trees shade tees. Staff welcoming. Grill basics hit. $20 value. Steady pace. Great starter course—kids loved it.

New golfer here. Loss of star for short driving range. I'm super grateful that there is an urban range near me. I've got plenty of work with the irons that it's no loss, really, but I must go somewhere else to use my driver. That said, two free putting greens and a pitching green to boot makes this place the best to work on short game. Here, take my paycheck!

Had a great time. Employees in the pro shop were great to work with. Course is well maintained. The 4th hole fairway is a little torn up, but besides that the greens are great. Will definitely be coming back.

Great price, fun course to practice on... I don't think that being followed for 4 holes by the Marshall was necessary when there's a view of a giant Ace dumpster, landscaping debris, and partially green fairways. I still give it 4 stars because we had a fun day...on "The Oldest Municipal Course in Utah"......even though we were stalked by the Marshall for half our play. You should be able to hit 2-3 balls per drive...because, hey, it's not the country club. Just IMO
