Course was fun, challenging, and in good shape. The price is a bit much. The staff were horrible. Completely rude when we were checking in. The front desk guy didn’t know the prices of any of the golf balls and acted like we were an inconvenience to him. With his lack of knowledge of the prices ultimately made my brother-in-law pay more for golf balls than expected. I left a club on the chipping green (yes my fault shouldn't have left it) but instead of slowing down the pace of play that they were so harsh about I called the front desk, 4 times before I got a hold of anyone, and asked if it was possible to bring my club to me ( I help coach my local high school team so this happens a lot with the boys and I’ve had multiple courses bring clubs out to help with pace of play) The front desk guy very rudely stated “I don’t have anyone that can drop everything they are doing just to bring you a club” . I asked if a marshal was going to make rounds and if they could and he said he had “No marshals today”. I get it, being understaff sucks but when I got back to the club house to grab my club, I saw TWO marshals sitting in their cart doing NOTHING. I ended up having to miss playing 1.5 holes due to me having to run back because they “didn’t have the staff”. If the front desk worker was a bit nicer about it and didn’t treat us like we were below him, I wouldnt have had a problem running back. But the nasty attitude and the lie about the lack staffing blow my mind that they allow that kind of behavior. The course’s challenging lay out and good condition gets them the 3 stars. The poor staff and over priced rounds loses 2 stars. There are other courses that are just as nice, lower price and with better staff. I did not enjoy leaving this review since I enjoy the sport so much, but the poor treatment should be known.

I like the courses. They were fun and beautiful. However we were followed by 12 rude players for all 18 holes and the marshal and front desk was unable to do anything about it.

Great course! A bit hard on some. The course map is a bit confusing with its 27 total hole options. Be prepared to lose a lot of balls. Island par 3 was a cool experience just wish it wasn’t covered in geese duck poop. There are lots of houses as well so play smart.

Golf often in Mesquite and I wanted to play some StG courses. I’ll advise that the 14 day window to book means you need to do it on the first available day as it books up fast. And the reason it books up fast is it is really quite a fun and beautiful course! I didn’t know what to expect, but I can say that the course exceeded it. There was some “painting of the fairways and greens” but it is also late January so it was expected. Great course, good price, fun set up (3 different 9 hole sections). Highly recommend.

My group was the first tee time on Saturday morning. Our pace was fine but since we didn’t even see the group behind us all morning so we didn’t play fast but took our time enjoying the beautiful course and the amazingly well kept greens. At the turn a Marshal assumed we had held up play and gave a lecture to my son and daughter. This was her second time playing golf and she had scrambled with her brother and together they played a great round. Needless to say that the unwarranted lecture from the marshal who was polite but extremely stern and told the that their play was “unacceptable” did nothing but damage to my daughters interest in taking up golf as a sport. I know what it looked like. The morning was behind and so it was assumed that the first group was at fault. That simply wasn’t the case. I’m leaving this feedback to remind you the what it looks like isn’t always how it is. Your job is not easy, especially because you have so many customers depending on each other to make a successful day for all and I get that, so we try to never be slow or hold up play. But when it’s a beautiful day on a beautiful golf course and as a family we are introducing my daughter to the sport, I do not feel like we needed to play fast for the sake of playing fast. I’m hopeful my daughter will forget her bad experience when she did noting wrong but still took an unwarranted and undeserved chewing from an official and continue to play golf with me and her brothers. Thank you for taking such great care of our communities public course and for all you do, and please remember to do your best to treat your customers like you would like to be treated if it had been you golfing with your daughter for the second time of her life.
