Found a great deal online amd went for it. Needed to stay 1 night for a conference a.d I dont regret it. The front desk were very nice both at check in and check out. The room was big and clean. The bed was soft, they had Roku so watching TV was nice vs regular hotels. Will definitely stay here again. The area is gorgeous in the morning during the desert sunrise. Reminded me of home in Phoenix. Thank you!!!

1star but was hopeful when this all started to leave a 5star. Let’s start by saying that The Rock Bowl venue itself was beautiful and made for a wonderful setting for our daughter’s wedding ceremony. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The catering, service, bathrooms, and communication throughout the planning process and event were absolutely disappointing. We booked the venue in January 2025 with Miranda and her assistant, the events manager at the time. She came across as confident and experienced, assuring us she had managed many weddings at this location and that everything always turned out great. We left that first meeting feeling excited and optimistic. However, as the months went on, communication became a major problem. We were not informed when the assistant we were told to email was no longer employed, meaning several important messages went unanswered. After multiple attempts and several phone calls, we finally got back in touch with Miranda. We eventually scheduled a tasting to decide on our food selections. The food at the tasting was impressive — well seasoned, hot, and nicely presented — which made us hopeful for the big day. Unfortunately, what we were served during the wedding was the complete opposite. The food arrived cold, as if it had just come out of the refrigerator and had missing elements that were promised. Other major issues included: There was a delay for appetizers being served until the Brides mother complained Games that were supposed to be set out for guests after the ceremony but didn’t happen until we got back from pictures 40mins later. The bar refused to serve drinks — even water — for a period of time. Table service was nonexistent: glasses were left flipped over and were never filled. Restrooms were unacceptable — there was a foul odor throughout the venue, and the men’s urinals were overflowing. Even after multiple complaints. Dirty dishes and leftover food sat on tables until the end of the event, even after multiple complaints. When these issues were brought to staff members’ attention, we were repeatedly told, “We’ll take care of it.”Unfortunately, nothing was ever taken care of. Most of the servers were seen sitting behind the bar on their phones instead of working most of the reception. To make matters worse, the shuttle service that was promised never ran as scheduled. Elderly guests were forced to walk from the Rock Bowl to their cars, and even the bridesmaids had to walk from the 10th tee back to the venue after photos because the shuttle wasn’t operating appropriately. The following day, we met with the event manager’s supervisor Brent, who initially appeared very remorseful about what had happened. However, that sympathy quickly turned into disappointment when he presented us with an offer that felt like a complete slap in the face — an unreasonably small and dismissive gesture that did nothing to make up for the disastrous service we experienced. Overall, the lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability completely overshadowed what should have been a joyful and memorable occasion. The Rock Bowl has potential as a beautiful venue, but until management seriously addresses these issues with their staff and operations, we cannot recommend it to anyone planning a special event.

The food at the restaurant on property was incredible! They give you really good portions and it's all good! The staff was out of this world, from the pro shop to the people in the restaurant was fantastic!! Of you haven't been, plan a trip, you will not regret it!

The golf courses are fabulous. Championship is a good challenge without being impossible, and the views are breathtaking. Links is a fun 9 hole course in the traditional links style. We played both in early Feb, and they were in great shape. Pro shop staff and marshals all firs rate. The rooms. IMO, using the word "resort" is a stretch. There was one blanket, too small to cover the bed, so thin you could read the newspaper through it. Bed listed 6-8" right - leg broken off and replace with a too-short 2x4. No dresser and no drawers anywhere. Pealing lampshades. Art in warped frames nailed to the wall. No maid service in 3 days. No towel service. No USB outlets. Maybe it's just the luck of the draw and other owners care more - but AVOID 6101 if you can. I get the idea these rooms are privately owned and the "resort's" only involvement is booking them. Grill . . . we went the first night, never to return.
