Fore Lakes Golf Course in Taylorsville feels less like a golf course and more like a swamp with a duck 🦆 named MR.QUAKERS! The ducks outnumber the golfers, and they act like they own the place, barking orders at you for daring to retrieve your ball. Half the fairways feel like you’re teeing off into a neighbor’s backyard, which is great if you’ve ever wanted to introduce yourself by smashing a Titleist through their kitchen window. The water hazards are so aggressive they might qualify as small lakes. By the back nine, I started wondering if this was a golf course or an elaborate duck mafia trap. Still, I’ll be back, because nowhere else can you lose twelve balls and your dignity for such a reasonable green fee.

11/18/25 played a round of 9 on the executive course with my good buddy Jim. Really nice course, i actually played my best round ever! Only 20 over. Really nice driving range and two practice Putting greens.

Good value. The course is in great shape. There's two putting/chipping greens. Great course to learn on or better your short game on.

This review is for JASON! The patron behind us were jerks, even though we had proper pace of play. He was understanding and kind. I liked the course it was for beginners but I hope I actually to get play this course, without jerks!

Fun little course. Long haired guy in the proshop is awesome. My teenagers are starting to play and he was super helpful to them, even though he was extremely busy. Holes are a little snug next to each other but not in bad shape and a good time.
