The worst golf course I’ve ever played. The “fairways” are not manicured to be fairways at all. The tee boxes are not groomed. Most of the cart paths are dirt roads or just stop. See pictures. Manager asked us how we were at the turn, so we commented on the fairways and how it rough it was. He was very kind and understanding and offered to refund us and did do so. When we proceeded to make the turn, he told us we could not continue playing because he refunded us…. Very overpriced fee for the state of the course. Thankful for the refund, but will not ever return. *Update in response to owner’s comment- we left and played another course nearby that had the same amount of rain and the course looked beautiful. It’s unfortunate when a business owner wishes bad karma on someone who is giving honest feedback. No accountability and blaming God… lol. Good luck.

This place is decent. Great location. It has so much potential, but it feels like the owners just let it go. Put minimal effort into the landscape. It feels like there only in in as kind of a side business. Like the course its self is an afterthought. Definatly had a nice time though.

My wife and I are full time RVers and play golf all over the country. We were staying nearby and the reviews looked decent for the price so we booked a daily "steal"...$70 for 2 players on Thursday morning. After playing the first hole, I knew that we overpaid by a lot. I'm not sure why the reviews are positive...the course was a mess. I can excuse the soggy fairways as it rained a few days before, but there is no excuse for what they call putting greens. Not a single green was puttable because they were mostly dirt and weeds. I wish I was exaggerating, but sadly I am not. Golfers know that half the game is on the greens. When the greens are so bad it's just no fun to play. For the price they charge, I'm not sure why anyone plays there. Tee boxes, fairways, cart paths are all marginal. We play a lot of golf and are generally not that picky...played more than one crap course in our day, but this was one of the worst.

1st time at this course. Owner James was extremely nice and grounds crew I met were also friendly and helpful. Great 18hole rural course. Challenging dog legs and some greens bordering the lake. Area was dry but the course was in great shape. Saw mixed reviews on Deer Run but I was pleasantly surprised by this course. Pace of play was good and all holes were challenging. Was told the new owner brought this course back from the dead. I think this is a great course. Look forward to coming back to this gem. Love these courses when I travel.
