Been playing golf for 40 years. Worst conditions I've ever played (front 9). Just horrible - fairways completely washed out. Honestly, they should shut down the front 9 and just run the back as a 9 hole course. At least until they get conditions back to reasonable. Not the least bit enjoyable for me. Back 9 is much better so gave it two stars. Generally the course is not kept real well. Fortunately it was cheap to play there, but will not be back :(

It's a shame what has become of this place. The course is in horrible condition. Fairways were giant mud pits. Greens have dead patches and clumps of dried grass and mud everywhere. Sections of the course have no grass at all. It is cheap to play here, but even with the cheaper cost, it's not worth playing here. Major work needs to be done to make this place bearable. Hopefully, they do as this used to be a great course to play.

Price is ok. Front 9 not good. Back nine worthy of the price. Pro shop and snack bar men were excellent!

This review isn't specifically for the Bayou Golf Course but for The Yella Dog restaurant which is inside of the golf courses club house. Now, when I tell you that this food was amazing... That's an understatement! Just look at my pics and those are only the pics I have after my first visit. I will definitely be visiting this establishment again for the restaurant as I don't play golf! š

Greens gave me flashbacks of the abuse I endured as a child. The pro shop worker snapped at my friend for not wearing a collared shirt yet the fairways were waist deep in water, I recommend the Magellan fishing waiters from academy before golfing here. Bring food and water (bottled) for the water jugs have yellow tinted water. Overall I would golf here againā¦NOT!!!
