Great course! I only have one grievance however. The course Marshal repeatedly came up to me and my buddy exclaiming that we needed to up our pace of play, I explained it was a group in front of us that was holding us up. After the third time he came up to us he raised his tone even more, I once again explained it was the group in front of us. The Marshal then decided to roadhouse kick my driver (snapping it) then proceeded to spit in my face. Other than this inconvenience the course was great.

If I could give this course 0 stars, I would. To start, the course’s name is Lake Park. I didn’t even see the lake. The only view I got was the gas station and homeless people across the street. When we arrived, we assumed it would be a fun 9-hole course. What they failed to put on their website is that it would be 8 par 3’s and 1 par 4. Used 3 clubs in my bag total. Maybe next time put that on the website so people don’t spend $40 for a 1-hour round (45 mins just waiting to hit). Next, the pace of play. By the time we were on hole 3, we were waiting 20 minutes to get to the tee box. No marshal to help regulate play, and no golfers that actually care about the course. Next, the customer service. Every time we tried to call, it would take 5 minutes to even talk to someone. When they did answer, they had no clue how to answer our questions. When we asked for a refund after realizing it’s a par 3 course, they said no. I guess that’s why they put “no refunds” on the website. Now that I’m talking about the website, let me mention that it’s the most unstructured, unorganized mess I’ve ever seen. Confusing and not informative at all. Overall, I hate this course and will never come back. Just sell the course and build a shopping center at this point.

Weekday golfer only, take that in to consideration for my reviews. Try lake park for an enjoyable practice round! Course plays great for the value. Off-season the greens won’t give you much for practice. Today 4/7/25. They are in best shape I’ve seen them. municipal course, five stars. Super walkable, bring your pushcart. Additionally, tag along your kids to the par 3 executive next door

Beautiful course but no rules are enforced for proper golf etiquette. Pace of play was absolutely miserable witnessed 3 groups drive across greens and tee boxes to skip a group of 4 taking 20 minutes to play each hole. Teenagers throwing rocks into fairways. Tee markers set on uneven ground. This place is great but the players are ridiculous.

Not a good value for the money. For the 9 hole course it costed $27 for walking plus $9 for a cart fee ($36 total). The course was also not in the best condition. Tee boxes were uneven and filled with divots, greens with unfixed ball marks and were very slow. For the price you are better off going to pecan hollow to play 18 holes for $35 or to tribute at $70 (the same price per hole). The course is also next to roads, trails, and a railroad so it can be distracting at times. Overall not a completely horrible experience but at this price point with so many other great and closer options I just cannot recommend.
