Great place to go and play 9 holes. It's perfect for practice or if you're getting back into the game. The staff is nice and and an absolute joy to chat with after finishing up. The course could use some work, but the prices aren't too expensive so it evens out. Plus they give back to the community by hosting weekly tournaments and participating in programs to encourage young golfers, so what's not to love!

Only 3 stars because of the price. Honestly it’s like $15-18 during the week to be able to play a 9-hole course with 6 holes that you can pull out a driver on. The fairways are non-existent, it’s all dirt. The greens are some of the worst. Really only a good value to just walk a quick and cheap round.

Fantastic little golf course at a great price. Yes, the price is a reflection of the quality - but the price is right (I can walk 9 holes 2x and it’s only $18 that way)! Come here to learn, play, and practice! Tournaments on Saturday are an option to test your group against another too! The clubhouse itself is a bit of a dive, clearly was built on the cheap in the 60s/70s and has had just about zero updates since then. Nobody smokes indoors in public anymore but the clubhouse is a reminder that they used to.

The course was in horrible shape. Mud every where grass was not maintained. To top it off the lady that checked us in was accusing us of driving off the cart path and was very impolite about it. I would never go back to the course even if it was free.

Listen if your looking find good greens or fairways, look elsewhere, but if your looking for a last minute tee time on a Saturday that’s not 30 minutes till sunset, windcrest will bail you out everytime, they had a Chinese family which owned it recently, and they served the best Chinese food in the whole damn area and were super friendly, they ended up having to give the place up, but I’ll cherish those experiences I shared with their noodles and dumplings to the grave. The staff that works there now is the same staff from before the Chinese family, and they are salt of the earth people. Rich and Rita give the place a distinct personal touch with their unique style of customer service and character, and the place just has such a homer feel to it. I hope one day the city allows them to actually get the water they need to properly irrigate, but until then Mr Budweiser groundskeeper is a an absolute beauty and does his best with what he’s got. Narrow fairways will test you, and a beautiful water piece on the par 3 hole 5 will be a new home for your pro V1’s everytime, so do yourself a favor and hit that range ball you’ve had in your bag on hole 5 instead.
