Course is in terrible shape. It's sad to see a course by Alamo Golf Trails with unlimited funds be run to the ground like this. No excuses for it to be this bad. Small out of town courses with a fraction of the income are in better shape. Update- played June 2023 and course is in much better shape. City courses still struggling with green conditions though. Overall I enjoyed playing this course.

My boyfriend celebrated his birthday at this course on February 9th, but unfortunately, the experience was a letdown. His friends were unimpressed with the choice and couldn't stop asking why he'd picked it. The course's condition was so bad that they didn't even take a single photo. Honestly, it's not worth the investment. I'd advise others to avoid wasting their money here. Initially, we shared our disappointing experience on a golf group on Facebook, but it was removed. We decided to share our review on Google instead. Hopefully, the course management will take our feedback constructively and make necessary improvements.

Sad to see the course in such bad condition, hopefully the repairs are coming soon as it is the worse I’ve seen it in 10 + year. Every green looks this way.

Today 2 Feb 2025, my god where do I begin. The course is in the worse shape I have ever seen it the 17 yrs I have been living in San Antonio. What happened to Willow Springs. It used to be a good course to play and pretty much in fair shape. The greens are in the worse condition I have ever seen them. The fairways no grass. How do you expect to play. It's so dormant out there it's ridiculous. I asked a guy coming off 18 hole and he was pissed as he passed me screaming it's disgusting out here. I feel sad willow has stooped to this level. RCB.

Do not spend your hard earned money here, they kicked me and my family out, my 2 year old and wife, we were bothering no one. Apparently they don’t allow children under 4 all the sudden, they don’t have no sign before you walk in and we passed multiple workers there no one said anything. I’ve brought my child there multiple times and no one has ever said anything. Not only that but they didn’t even give my full refund, didn’t even finish 4 holes. Greens are bad and grass is gone. Bad management. Legal action will be taken.
