The course itself was in solid shape — fairways were well-maintained, and most greens rolled true, with only a few showing minor rough patches that didn’t significantly affect putting. That said, the price feels a bit steep given the lack of on-course amenities. There was no water available throughout the course, so be sure to bring plenty (I had a 64oz Yeti and still ran low). The cart service was limited — we only saw the cart girl twice, and one of those times was because we stopped by the clubhouse. It’s not a bad course, but unless they improve the player experience, I’d likely only return for a change of scenery.

Best public course in San Antonio. Fun layout, tight fairways, good conditions. Very friendly staff! The proshop also has the best merchandise!

Our team has hosted the charity golf tournaments at the Silverhorn Golf Club. I really can't say enough good things about Tiffany and Jedon at the club. Our team work hard but party of the success is due to the flexibility and kindness of these two people. They make our lives easier. Tiffany anticipates our needs which is awesome. And the course is lovely. Appropriately challenging. The renovations to the club house have given the atmosphere a good kick up. And everything is reasonably priced. That's why we keep coming back for our tournament.

The course alone was alright, but it took 6 and a half hours… First timer on this course a few weeks ago and come to find out I’m playing behind a birthday party of 20. No amenities, no water jugs or ball cleaners, 1 run down port a potty. Terrible experience for a $100. Never coming back. Oh and they have a mandatory purchase of hotdogs for every beer. Go figure the birthday party of 20 bought all the hotdogs so no beer for us. And they didn’t have any ready at the turn because they were bought out again. And the cart girls skipped us every time around to go to the front of the birthday party. (I don’t blame them, sounded like a good time in front of us)

Honestly not that cool. $110 per person for the round. No water jugs at all on the course. No bathrooms on the course. Cart girls were parked at two holes on the course and didn’t drive around. The second cut was so long it felt like we were playing at the US open. I’m a 15 handicap golfer and don’t think I will be going back. It’s too expensive and doesn’t offer enough fun experience. I made the best of it but I’ve had a much better time playing at less expensive courses in the San Antonio area.
