It's been a while since I've had a chance to play Olmos Basin. the changes to the course were great. I was fortunate to have been paired with a wonderful group of gentlemen and thoroughly enjoyed the day. The course and greens were in excellent shape and I had a great round. Look forward to playing when I'm back in San Antonio in a few months. Thank you

Sunday, 6/22/25 - 9:00 start for group was delayed till 9:25 because of earlier group that could have shotgunned more effectively. Front 9 in good shape although senior (gold) tees were set back significantly longer than normal. Lastly, while waiting at #1 tee box , we had the opportunity to watch several groups play into the 9th green. There were several younger adults playing in tee shirts versus collared shirts. If you are trying to grow the game even First Tee participants know proper etiquette and attire.

I like Olmos, it’s just that simple. Not a hard walk, water coolers where you need them. Conditions are improving, practice green is still poor & two green is coming. 5/17 the greens were slow. Bang for the buck is good 6/27-course is looking good after all the rain. Greens still slow and today we NEEDED a Marshal. Took 4:50 to play, group in front of us was slow & took offense when I asked them to pick up the pace on 12 tee. Oh well…

Course is in good shape. Just one negative comment, they pair you up when they had carts beyond the numbers playing. The front nine had lots of single cart players. The concierge cart, the young lady was professional and courteous.
