Alamo Golf Trail Crown Jewel right now. Fairway, boxes, and greens are in fabulous condition. $50 green fee to walk. Walking this course is not for the faint of heart. It is a very challenging golf course, very hilly. A+ golf experience.

Course is in great shape. Well worth the day if you plan to go. Course does get a little busy in the morning rounds take about 4 1/2 hours. Highly recommend.

Cedar Creek, even with it’s new renovation is still a ridiculous course to play. Besides the many cart path only holes that require you to walk up and down sharp inclines, there is nothing flat. Visually the course is beautiful but that doesn’t make up for the difficulty traversing the course on foot. My least favorite Alamo Trail course. I played today to make a friend happy

Been a long time since I’ve played Cedar Creek. It’s impressive post-renovation. First, the course is in fantastic shape all around. The side “hills” that used to just feed your ball back to the fairway is now rough. Not incredibly long rough, but definitely makes it more challenging. Second, the greens. Wow. Very firm. Played on a Saturday afternoon and pitch marks were hard to find. Makes the approach difficult even when in fairway. Last, putting was a challenge for sure. Admittedly I was putting mostly 30-40 footers but, damn, some big breaking putts and speed is certainly a challenge. Only saw beverage cart once and was given a plastic bag for a “cooler” to keep the drinks cool. Probably my only complaint. Pace was not bad. There was a foursome that only played 9 so we went quick on the back. Clubhouse staff was good and saw a few on the course moving groups along. Will go back for sure. That course has been one that I have played for more than probably 20 years and seeing it in the condition I saw today was awesome. Good work, Cedar Creek. 👍

4-8-2025. The course is in great shape and the greens are perfect. Had a wonderful time playing golf with my dad. Keep up the good work on the course.
