Forest Creek Golf Club is the best course in the Austin area! From the scenery to the staff, every time I golf at this course it never disappoints. The clubhouse burger and beer selection is to die for, I highly recommend this course to anyone looking for an incredible Texas golf experience.

Forest Creek Golf Club is a special place. Every aspect of golf is included here. The course is challenging, but not overwhelming The staff welcomes you like an old golf buddy and the people who golf here are friendly. I met two guys who had paid memberships at another popular course, but drove a little further to play Forest Creek GC because they manage the number of golfers on the course much better here so the experience is much more enjoyable. Their practice facilities are my favorite. They have a dedicated pitching area from 30 yds out, an enormous undulating putting green which is so challenging that I can practice my putting for two hours and not get bored Their beautiful driving range is bordered by a thick forest. It is a public course so they use artificial turf mats. Out of all the courses in the North Austin area, I chose Forest Creek GC's Junior Academy as the place to begin my grandson's formal golf training. He loved the coaching staff and Coach Josh in particular. It is a lush green course during the spring time. During the hot summer months, it is my favorite place to golf during the twilight hours. I choose a day where it is 99° and falling at 5 pm. It is a peaceful place with a literal forest of trees to provide shade throughout the round. The pro shop is well supplied and the cafe is outstanding. The food is VERY good and there are lots of delicious options. I always eat there before or after putting practice and a round of golf.

Fantastic experience here. Course quality was great for price and public course. Got a free small range bucket and lunch with green fee. Starter, staff, and Marshall all friendly and helpful. Pace of play was great. Electric cart with gps help and topographic information of greens. Don’t have anything bad to say.

Course is always in great condition... played here several times. Unfortunately, the pace of play is always 4-5 hours. Our last (and final round) was 4:45. The marshals simply do not enforce pace of play. A shame. Better options around for your $.
