Course was in great shape. Staff was very friendly! They make a great breakfast burrito! Also, they have a free coffee bar which is a nice touch. Plenty of space at the driving range. They have an indoor space for eating or group outings. They do have some tough holes- so bring your A game!

Played yesterday. Course conditions were very good. Tee boxes were square and level, and and fairways were green with very few bare spots. Greens were okay with the exception of No. 8. Bunkers were a little compacted, but had plenty of sand. Starter was very friendly, and pace of play was fine.

Why five stars? If you have been paying attention to the transformation of this golf course it would be easy to understand. From late June to late August and into September their staff has worked tirelessly to improve the greens. With outstanding results. All while maintaining and improving a world class public golf course.

I went today 04/01/25 as a single. Was told that was ok. Carts dirty and damaged, course in really bad condition, and, fees have gone up. To top it off, 1st stater at 1240 PM was pleasant and asked not to crowd the 3 some ahead of me. 3 some hitting way too far back tees, taking too much time, 6's/7s on every hole. But I stayed back. When I finally made the turn, the new starter said, in his best drill sergeant tone, "pick it up". I asked did you tell the 3some and 4some in front of me the same thing? "Pick it up" in his don't mess with me tone was hie reply. I went to hole 10 and watched 2 of the 3 take at least 8 on a short par 4. Too much for me. How do you "pick it up" without crowding the 3some and 4 some? Just picked up and went home.Won't be going back. I've played the course often in 12 yrs but Wil Not again. Also, I'm 77, I don't expect respect but I don't like disrespect.

Love Buffalo Creek! You do pay a little more than some other public courses, but the value is for sure there. The course is always in really great shape, you get a small bag of range balls and the free coffee is always a welcomed perk. I live out in Richardson and Buffalo creek is still our go to when looking for tee times. Highly recommend!
