I’m not sure why there are such bad reviews this place is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We rented 136 Sundew and it’s awesome. We got arm bands at the office for the pool. It’s resort style with a bar and lifeguards. Everyone has been wonderful on the property. We come to Port A a lot and this is one of my favorite places. We have truly enjoyed the luxury and house. Everything we need is in the house. We would def rent here again.

People making these reviews are tripping. This place is top notch and super fancy. It’s awesome. Ours is in building 137. Great experience. Beautiful safe property. Dog friendly mostly. Two pools, beautiful beach area. Super clean property. We’ll maintain kids everywhere no worry about anyone hurting them. It’s awesome. Only complain I have is our main shower has low water pressure. I can live without it

We LOVE staying at Palmilla beach. It's the closest resort community to the downtown area of Port A. So close that we can ride a golf cart right into town for food/ drinks. The air conditioned bathrooms right on the beach are amazing and make it so easy with little kids. You can order food right off the beach or at the pool. There are fun kid areas throughout the community (swings, games, etc). My husband loves the golf. I highly recommend visiting Palmilla!

No outside food/drink allowed at the pools!! Not even water! This is communicated nowhere by Palmilla- not online, and not even in person when you check in and get pool wrist bands. We learned this rule the hard way when walking up to a pool with our baby, toddler, and cooler full of snacks (mostly for our kids), and a Palmilla employee “welcomed” us only to make sure we didn’t have any outside food and drink. Not even water. We were even left with weird hesitation when we pushed back on having snacks for our baby and toddler. Totally understand no outside alcohol when they have bars to order drinks. But water? Really? And then to pay for overpriced mediocre food when you’re already having to stock a kitchen for other meals and even the beach. Just felt like a sneaky way for Palmilla to nickel and dime vacationers. I feel we should have the choice whether or not we want to eat their food. And it sure is conveyed this way by their initial communication, or lack there of. After the cost of a beach home, golf cart, groceries, and unexpected food/drink, might as well just go to a different place or better yet something like an all-inclusive with better beaches and service. Also pro tip: there is car access to a public beach within Palmilla. You just need to get a beach permit at a convenience store or other retailer close by. Having a beach cart is nice, but you could technically get around with a car if you wanted- including the beach.

We got married on the Grand Lawn and over the wedding weekend, we utilized pretty much all Palmilla had to offer...the swimming pools, the golf course, the restaurants, the beach, and the houses. The service everywhere was friendly and accommodating. Working with them as a wedding venue was easy. Thank you to all of the Palmilla staff for making it an unforgettable weekend!
