Prior to last week, I had not played Blackhawk for about a year. At that time the fairways were bad, cart paths were sketchy, and the greens were in very poor condition. As of last week every single area I described was markedly worse. I would have preferred the drought stricken grass in my yard over the "fairways". Frodo experienced fewer obstacles on his way to Mordor than my ball did on these greens. I really hope the course gets it together one of these days. What a shame. Two stars only because the staff working the check in and restaurant were very nice as well as the marshall.

Blackhawk has got to be one of the worst courses I have ever played. $60 for a round is way too expensive for that course. Greens are in bad shape. The areas around the greens are even worst than the greens. Probably done care, but will never play Blackhawk again. Blackhawk, be better that that. Have very nice home on that course.

Irresponsible to sell this product to people in its current condition. The set up is great but I’ve never played a golf course in such bad shape. Must be milking it for every penny until they shut down

I hate to sound like a Karen but I have truly never left a review on anything. It started with the poor website which didn’t let you book a tee time, but what really stood out to me was the workers. I could care less about the condition of the course (which was awful) but you get what you paid for. They were immediately up tight and passive aggressive. They were genuinely rude to my friends and I. They found everything an inconvenience. I genuinely wish could’ve said this to his face but sadly the shop was closed by the time I finished. He talked to me as if he was my father except my father isn’t missing brain cells. I seriously wouldn’t come here if it was free. I truly believe this is a waste of land and energy.

My buddy and I played in just under 4 hours. Greens were in pretty good shape on most holes. Fairways are green after recent rain. 2nd time I have played here in the past month. Buddy kept saying it was better than he expected. Will be back! Be sure to bring your own water! None on the course and no beverage cart.
