I played my first round in 8 years here, so I can't speak much to the quality of the course, but it seemed pretty nice to me. Pricing was very reasonable and included the cart, which is updated with the big screen and electronic score card. I'm gonna be back.

The course was very wet today. As an Anniversary Member I play here often. I have been playing through the rough shape of these greens. I have been told that the team is working the greens, but I see a little progress at best. The greens have been struggling for some time now. So on the back nine there is only 1 green that is good and that green is #11. The other 8 greens are not so good. See the pictures. I do not recommend you come here and pay full price Don’t go to Clear Creek either. They are on 18 temp greens. You can only throw so much sand and aerate so many times before you need to do something different. Pearland spent lots of money on cart paths. Lots and lots of money. It’s time to do something different 6 months into your damaged greens situation. It’s not too long ago I was told by June the greens should recover. Well, we are still waiting.

The course is far from the excellent shape it was when I joined 3 years ago. Yet, the sun has been very brutal to golf courses in Houston the last 6 months. Played August 14, morning round. The fairways are in relatively good shape. Yet, the bunkers are in not so good shape I.e., some are flooded, need a bit more sand etc. The front greens are better than the back. There are sections of greens that have been replaced, so there is a plan to get them back to the days of glory. I’m hopeful. There is a pace of play problem, they are working on it. Some of the membership plans are economical, the down fall is good luck in getting an early t-time. You will have to pay for the higher costing membership to get a consistent t-time. I have only encountered friendly staff at this course. There is a level of responsibility on the player, play from the tees, that reflect your skill level.

2025 update the greens are pitiful. Won’t be returning anytime soon. 2023 I had a pleasant experience here on Saturday. The fairways were a bit wet from the recent rains here so it was cart path only. We managed ok. The driving range was closed for similar reasons. Overall the golf experience was good. The holes were pleasant snd challenging. The greens were very well kept, but the greens keeper had it out for us with extremely challenging hole locations. Very hard to make a 3 putt here as the greens are undulating and sloping. The afternoon rates were not too bad around 63$ for 18. While all the tee times were sold, it did not appear crowded. We were able to play at a leisurely pace.

It was our first time here and while i completely understand maintaining a 15 minute pace of play, the way they went about telling us to hurry up felt very unprofessional and rude. The second we started there were people waiting behind us and since we are beginners we weren’t super fast by any means but to have golfers yelling “hurry up and just hit the ball you have groups behind you” after 2 practice swings is not right. They then complained and the marshal told us we need to go faster or we should skip holes and then followed us around for the next few holes. We were going as fast as we could and it completely ruined the vibe and made it an unenjoyable experience. I understand the marshals job is to ensure the pace is good for everybody but just be aware if you are newer to golf it’s pretty clear you aren’t welcomed here.
